I agree as far as the NBA goes, really thought the lockout might actually have done some good.

I do dissagree with you as far as the Rockets go. I look forward to watching this team grow and see which players have some potential. Deffinitely more excitement in watching the Rockets this year as opposed to the last 2 years.

As the rumors continue to swirl, this deal is becoming a bigger and bigger joke. Seriously? The Clippers now swooping in and getting the BEST prospect out of all of this (MarShon Brooks) for a PROTECTED FIRST ROUNDER?? And even then, that first rounder is going to be worth squat because the Clippers are playoff bound!! IS THIS REAL LIFE?? If this goes down, it's basically a giant **** YOU to the fans and front offices of every other NBA team in the league. When it comes to money, there is no such thing as fair. Agents, owners, and players operate on a level that is beyond rules.

How can anyone in good faith accept a deal like that over the Rockets' offer?

That is not operating in the best interests of the team or the fans.

It's crooked, and the league should launch an immediate investigation if that comes to pass.

It screws with the integrity of the game and the league, if unscrupulous deals are being allowed by the league's owners.

What if the Raptors offered Bargnani and the same 3 picks- does anyone even consider this?

What is that sneaky russian doing?

If you don't get it, then it means Stern had something to do with it.

So basically, the end product of this trade will be:

Brooklyn - Dwight Howard. Enough said.

LA Clippers - MarShon Brooks. Giving up a protected first rounder for him is peanuts.

Cleveland - Kris Humphries. They would be giving up a first round pick for someone they could have just signed outright.

Orlando - Brook Lopez and a bunch of low first round picks. They will be surrounding a mediocre, gimpy footed, maxed out non-rebounder with a bunch of mediocre low-first round talent with guaranteed contracts. Clearly the recipe for success.

    What a ****ing joke.

Brooks was a 25th pick. He was lucky to be on a team that through injury and basically not having competition on the roster that allowed him to average 11 field goal attempts per game.

Ok, I'll give you that. Regardless, I'm sure the Clippers are ok with giving up a low first rounder for him. The Clippers are just a periphery team anyways. It ultimately comes down to what the Magic are willing to take back....and if this rumor is true, clearly a steaming pile of dog*** will get the deal done.

The Magic are trading their most important piece for Garbage...i repeat...garbage..Lopez is garabage...but the disguise of first round picks is truly despicable....regardless of how many bad contracts are going...the Magic are really not doing whats best for their team...and the NETS...yes that NETS...is going to have their trio...

Seriously if you are trying to rebuild, want a better team or just want to make fans happy and have a positive outlook on the team which would you take:

Lopez and 3 picks guaranteed to be in the 18-28 range

    or

Lamb (who was projected to be a top 5-10 talent in a deep draft)
    White
    A guaranteed lottery pick
    The Dallas pick
    Kevin Martin's expiring contract

I am pretty sure the Rockets would either throw in Parsons or take back Richardson to sweeten the deal.

And we have two future 2nd round picks from the Knicks now to toss into a deal. (let's keep Parsons, by the way)
