    Thank you BetterthanI.

For Castor: I am currently going through the "very sad news" thread and I am overwhelmed with the amount of people that sent their condolences. I am also quite saddened to learn of his troubles with his religion. He never spoke of those issues with me. I don't know if he assumed that I would take it badly (which I wouldn't have, I am a VERY open minded person) or if he just didn't want to confide that part of his life with me. At any rate, I am learning quite a bit of my brother & his troubles through these threads, and even though it is quite hard to do, it is something that I must do, for my own healing process. I have had some puzzle pieces to his death but I am now getting more, and am actually being able to put them together. Thanks for your post.

Just wanted to say so sorry about your loss. Others have mentioned contacting facebook, so I would recommend going down that route instead of trying to guess the password. BOL and thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

The Landry stuff has always been very sad and this thread has been hard to read with imagining your pain. Your last post adds another element, though. The wierdness that this BBs could actually give you a little more insight into your brother is fascinating, sad for what you have to learn, but also a little uplifting for the gift of insight that it offers.

I am fairly emotionally detached from things on this board (despite being around for 13 years now) and joke about how it is all fake life, anyway, but this is both very personal and very really public.

I wish you nothing but the best in your grief recovery and for your family.

I hope doing this helps you find some closure -- I think a lot of his evolving posts regarding religion will be the most insightful.

Listening to the music from that thread just rips me up again.

I'm glad you found the answer to his favorite book, and I hope you and your family can find a bit more closure through his accounts.

    My condolences to you.

I don't get into much of the deeply personal stuff around here or follow that of others, but LL was one of my favorite posters to read and to interact with when it came to sports, especially football. He stood out early to me because he was a Chiefs fan, and growing up myself as a Chiefs fan I know that they are not an easy or popular team to support.

Audrey, I don't have any special insights, but I did read a lot of posts from your brother.

If you are going to try some more titles, for a young man like him it might really be worth trying: Catcher in the Rye, Less than Zero, and Notes from the Underground

I am so, so sorry for your loss, and very sorry if all three of those ideas are useless.

I am happy though that you are able to read some of his posts here and can hear of the impact he had (okay digitally but still real, as rimbaud stated above) on many of us here.

All best wishes to you and yours! Feel free to stay around, but avoid the Debate and Discussion forum.

I thought he had written to me in a rep comment about going to Germany. Really liked reading his posts.

Apparently he had no contact with his biological mother?

I did look at his facebook page after that thread and also spoke to real life friends in Germany about this and how it is so strange how it can affect you to hear of the passing of someone you have never met in real life. I don't usually let BBS stuff really get to me, but I listened to that last song he posted on Facebook many times and found it nice, but depressing.

Very sorry for your loss. I hope you can get to know him better through reading his posts, and hopefully, you will get some closure. All the best.
