I really like the guy. He fills up a stat sheet. While playing behind Steve Nash getting 15min of garbage time, he put up 9.6ppg 4 assits, .430 fg%, .80 ft%.... Very similar to his break out season the previous season when he was voted Most Improved Player (the year before him it was All Star Danny Grainger, and the year after superstar Kevin Love was voted MIP. Basically, he's in good company) if he would have been a bigger part of the offense. There really isn't anything about his game you can't like? Other than stats, I like the guy cause I'm a fan. He got drafted with two vets and played is tail off for minutes. He knocked down so many big time shots, I loved watching him play. What do you guys think??
His D is awful. Other than that, he's fun to watch, as long as we're not expecting to make it to the finals. /thread
If you think it's a "great" move, then we have problems. It's "A" move. That's for sure. We have no pg's, we don't really have much of a choice, but a great move makes it seem like we let Dragic and Lowry go because Brooks was coming back from China and we had to have him, as if we haven't traded him in the past.
Yeah he was the point guard that started the last time we were in the playoffs where he performed great.
Thanks. I didn't want to be that guy but you said it before me. Bad title and there's another Brooks thread out there. Imagine that ...a fan's perspective on clutchFANS
