I didn't noticed that the pick from the Rockets was traded to Atlanta for JJ. And as we know they can't trade picks of 2 years in a row (besides that are picks of ateam that has Howard, Deron, Wallace and JJ...), but not only that, Woj says that they would be giving one of those picks to Cleveland for Humphries. So.... where are the 3 picks???

I guess they would trade M.Brooks to another team to get 1. The other one? 2015 from Nets? The picks are 2013 and 2015 from Nets plus what the get for Brooks??

Not very good picks in my mind. Only Rockets pick from Toronto by itself is potentially better.

In brooks last 82 game season, he averaged just 6 rebounds per game. He averaged just 3.6 last year.

What do you mean, Lopez can rebound?

So based on this scenario Orlando gets NJN 2013 2015 and 2017 1st round picks, while Cleveland gets NJN 2019 pick since you can't trade consecutive 1st rounders and it doesn't seem like NJ has any other first round picks in those years as of now.

 

He was a solid rebounder in his rookie year, but his rate has declined each year. If he can reach just the rate of his 2nd year, his rebounding will be okay. If he can't, he'll continue to be very overrated.

Cavs receive Nets 2017 1st round pick
Orlando receives Nets 2013 & 2015 1st round picks + 1st rounder from unknown 4th team

4th team will receive Brooks

Any center with average less six rebounds per game can not get a max deal, unless he can score 30 points per game. This new Orlando GM could be worse than former Knicks GM.

 

Could it be that these rookie Gms Denver(Melo trade) and now Orlando happened to be intimidated by these players and their agents.

I'd make the HW trade in basketball. Unlike football, in basketball one player can define your team. Basketball is the sport where the adage of "the team that gets the best player wins the trade" holds true. Example, I'd trade every single person on our roster and all of our draft picks for Lebron James. (Hypothetically. I know you wouldn't be able to field a team)

 

That Walker trade gave the Cowboys Emmitt and a bunch of other pieces that won them multiple Super Bowls.
