Looks like Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen will be reunited again. They were a hell of a duo in their Seattle days. Rashard Lewis is only 32 years old, still must have some left in the tank, especially for his role on this team. I think it's a good fit for Miami if they can get him to take about the same amount of pay as Allen did.

I don't think the Heat need anymore of these wing players, though. LeBron, Wade, Allen, Battier, Miller (assuming he discovers the fountain of youth) are all sufficient at the wing, imo.

The Heat need better quality big men.

I think the Heat learned that they can win without a big man slowing them down. Bosh can play the 5 and so can LeBron, actually.

Lewis is washed up. Won't make a meaningful contribution even if he is signed.

EXACTLY. Pat Riley is a genius. He's building a dynasty for the ages there in Miami. That loss to Dallas and all the ridicule they got put him into crazy dictator mode and he's going to get his revenge. The not 5, not 6, not 7 is going to play out..... There is the Miami Heat and there is the rest of the NBA.

They really need Marcus Camby. But I guess a SnT is the only way.

Now when Lebron drives and kicks out to the wings he'll have actual shooters there. Think Olajuwon and the championship teams. The triple teams came and he could trust his 3point shooters.

Congrats on your Repeat Lebron. Miami just needs a defensive big to give Lebron and Bosh a breather. Camby would work.

Derrick Rose has to be pissed about this more than anyone. The Bulls have been the #1 seed in the East these past 2 years, and that's with Miami's Big 3 there. now it looks like the Heat will not only have their Big 3, but have a full and deep bench for years to come. Rose will come back from injury to see his team become a mid-level playoff team in the East, which is almost like being a lower seed in the West. Oh how quick the Mighty have fallen.

I doubt Derrick Rose is sitting at home pissed about Rashard Lewis possibly joining the Heat.

Probably not even mad about Ray Allen joining them.

If miller can find a 2nd wind, whos to say Lewis will not find his?
If camby do join the heat, you could almost say heat for the 2 peat.

He had actual shooters there before, it's not like Mike Miller and James Jones and Battier (corner only) were garbage; Miller and Jones were both over 40%.

They need some interior size/muscle most of all, IMO. Not Rashad Lewis spotting up.

Would be a mistake for anything but the minimum.

That's all they have left without a SnT.
