The two times I've been to PF Changs that has happened to me. I guess it would have been rude of me to decline considering my girlfriend's dad was paying.

I polish off my own entree, then wait patiently for that magical moment when my wife says "I'm done" then immediately POUNCE on what's left of hers.

Amen Texxx, this isn't Europe or some third world hole. We can afford our own food and we have freedom of choice in America.

The best way to handle the situation is to early on state that you either have food allergies, are on a diet or simply cut the situation off and early on state you will not share food... That will prevent someone (usually someone cheap) from suggesting sharing.

You know you're a redneck if you share food at the table and you are at a buffet.

    Splash! ;)

Not sharing food is a totally American thing. The rest of the world has no problems with it.

When I worked at Pappasitos, Asians would always do this. Looked like a buffet on my tables.

Fajitas for 2, Quayle, Shrimp Brochette.

Sorry, but he doesn't look too appetizing to me. Besides, I've never been to a restaurant that had assclown on the menu.

I'm stingy with my food. It's something my Asian roommate has learned.

Overweight Americans like Texxx are very territorial and possessive when it comes to food and satisfying their hunger. They're also afraid of trying new things - a staple of the good ol American culture is staying in your comfort zone. There's no point explaining the concept of a diversified palette or a new cut of salmon, these horizontally challenged Tex-Mex's fantasize about what they'll eat the entire day and when it's dinner time, everyone has to clear out while they turn into a hippo at a watering hole.

The thing that ticks me off the most is when someone states they are meeting with the Astros' GM and asks for folks to submit questions they would like answers and 10+ days after that meeting they still have not responded to the questions or posted an update.

Lol thank god you don't have relatives in Asian or Indian countries (plus any other culture that does this), this is how we eat every day. Obviously unless you are alone, if you are with family or whatever, then all the dishes are cooked. And no it's not that ''unhygienic'' because if they are doing it properly, then each dish should have its own spoon/chopsticks and you use that to bring the food to your plate, and then use your utensils to eat it.
