"Most likely gone" It isn't done. Can we just wait until this whole nightmare is officially over to start these types of pointless threads? K? Thanks!
My guess: 1. Sign Aaron Brooks. 2. Wait for the result of the Lin/Asik matching 3. Pick a road: Either (a) Run with the youth movement, trade Scola and Martin (at some point, doesn't need to be immediate)-- No center means giving the center minutes to a couple of the young PFs. or (b) See if there are other star level pieces available to build a contender without hurting future flexibility (like the Gasol/Nene plan).
atleast we will have ALOT of cap space next summer and teams will be looking to cut salary cause new taxes are starting i think
I respect the optimism .. but lets face it , Dwight "isn't coming here, we got rid of a lot of veterans and brought in these young guys so now hopefully D Morey will start looking for other pieces and fast....or this season will be much like the Astros ..
This. If Dwight is out of the picture, we don't need to repair just enough to get a 14th pick, or knocked out of the 1st round. We have a team ready to either piece together a trade for Dwight or Tank magnificently (lets start 5 SF/PFs).
Thank God!! Didn't want to give up White or Lamb.. Stream line and balance the roster.. Get rid of Scola and Martin... try to get another future 1st... Start Patterson raise his Value... Trade him at the deadline or next season... Shoot for Bynum next year and hopefully get a top 5 pick next year and our rookies and Parson improve greatly and at least one turns into an All Star..
80% of cap must be used so we have to find somone to play the center and PF positions and overpay them
