Theme of this thread......"let's find the most obscure rapper we can find, so people thing we are the ****!". Just because they are "underground" doesn't mean they are good. Just because they are mainstream, doesn't mean they suck. Most underground rapper stay "underground" because they are Marginally talented...... UGK started that way....."cream rose to the top".
LOL your right about that....but i like hearing some of these artists I've never heard of that some people here have posted. Some i like and some i don't. Its a good way to share good music.
Like which mainstream artist are better than underground? I know some - Andre 3000, Nas (he is not even that mainstream). I love Nas and i'm surprised not many jam to him and he has been around for a long time. Illmatic was a classic.

This. Im an avid underground hip hop fan... im constantly lookin for newer and better... ive been stuck on some riitz songs lately... Dont know if they have been posted on here because i jus found this thread and havent looked thru it but slaughterhouse is ridiculous lyrically speaking... crooked i is simply fantastic imo... My favorite verse is by Binary Star - reality check... he goes by One be lo now...
Can't say its my favorite from him. It's ok but there hasn't been a track that his stood out on it though. I will keep listening to it, I usually warm up to songs after a couple of listens.
wait.............dope meaning is cool, nice, and awesome? haha, been using the word wrong then i thought u think that k'naan is not good
