    Excited to see Singleton for the first time. There is some good talent on ESPN2 right now! Thinking we will have more than one on there next year!

    That replay as the went to commercial showed that he was safe. Tag was at the same time as he touched the bag. Bad call.

    yeah was going to post the same thing. would have been safe easily if he wanted to break all his fingers on the side of the bag.

    Came across this on another site and I figured someone would be interested.

    Here's the report on Cisnero from this year's Baseball America Prospect Handbook.

    I don't mean to open up old wounds, but I'd much rather have Anthony Gose roaming center instead of Jordan Schafer...

    Anyone watching the Future's Game? Singleton has singled and drawn a walk so far.

    Singleton singles up the middle again in his third at bat.

    Man Castellenos just jacked a belt-high, inside-out 3-run HR. He just keeps killin at. At one point I was hoping we could get him from detroit, but no way now.

    Think the Astros could pry away Brian Matusz from the Orioles in a Wandy Rodriguez trade? Just over a year ago Matusz was expected to be the future ace of that staff. He might be one of those guys that just needs a change of scenery.. Most pitchers in the AL East probably do.

    Possibly? I think Orioles are reluctant to part with him for Greinke, much less Wandy. potential TOR leftys don't grow on trees.

    Exactly what I was thinking. I'd do a Wandy/Matusz deal straight up or maybe even for Chris Tillman.

    Well.... Jonathan Villar led off the Corpus game with a homer. That's the only run of the game so far.

    Keeping the dream of a 20/50 season alive!

    Rasmussen hasn't look impressive thus far in his AA/Astros debut. He gave up back-to-back solo HRs in the bottom of the third.

    Looking back on the meltdown today, I think there has to be a bullpen shakeup at some point in the 2nd half. Seriously.

    He's settled down a bit. Solid, if unspectacular debut. How about Drew Muren...

    Rasmussen's day is done.

    Final line 5 IP, 5H, 3R, 2ER, 0BB, 2SO, 2 HR --> GS 49

    Listening to the game, it didn't sound like he was overmatched in AA. After giving up the 2 HR to open the bottom of the 3rd, he retired the next 9 batters in a row.
