This is a very long post i will warn u but the biggest point i think that needs to be mentioned is this....

Clearly the only reason anyone in their right minds would be against this trade is because of the possibility of Dwight not resigning.

So for example say we traded k-mart, white, jones, tor pick, dal pick and P-pat for Dwight and richardson (who i HATE) , that would leave us with

    PG: ???
    SG: richardson, lamb
    SF: Parsons
    PF: Scola,D-Mo
    C: Superman, Asik

Asik can also become a defensive PF when D is needed late...THIS line up is a TOP 4 TEAM IN THE WEST - THE PG......whomever that may be (lull, machado,brooks,felton.....etc)

If he does indeed Bolt and we get nothing in exchange we can finally REBUILD, which if iam not mistaken most of you actually wanted....If he leaves in a SnT then well still have alot of options to find some one else....( amnesty scola, sign JSmooth...) whatever we decide to do well have the MOST cap room in the nba in a free agency class that is deep headed by paul and smith....

Now the 3rd possibility that ppl have to start thinking about is if he does take the EXTRA 30 mill he can only take here, and well still have the cap room to please him with whoever he chooses....even if its chris paul....

Everyone that wants to hate on Morey has their own opinion and can say what they please, but now we have Cap Flexibility, Bunch of draft picks, 13 mill expiring contract in K. Mart(who many wanted traded..hell be a huge chip in any trade we make) and most importantly if this trade is made well have SPACE.....

Or perhaps a sign and trade to the Lakers for Bynum, who will be a free agent at the same time. Or a sign and trade to Miami for Bosh, or to New York for Chandler, to the Clippers for Brake Griffin, etc.

I do not think your opinion is worthless. I also do not think how much money you have spent supporting the team entitles you to any more or any less right to post here than anyone else.

My complaint with your post was due to the fact that Carl Herrara was articulating a factual and cogent reasoning for why the big market teams would not be able to acquire Dwight Howard next summer based on the rules under the new CBA; and rather than acknowledging those facts, you responded with a cop-out that those teams would just "figure it out" despite the facts presented to you. That has always been a pet peeve of mine and has unfortunately led to an overall decline in the quality of this BBS.

That said, I apologize for the tone of my response. It was disrespectful, and I am sorry for that.

Wow. I didn't realize I was viewed by some of you as a "bully" or that my M.O. has been to be disrespectful to others.

I'd like to think that I am tolerant of others' opinions. For instance, leebigez and I hardly agree on anything; but we still get along and respect each others' opinions.

But if people here think I'm a bully, disrespectful or otherwise full of myself, then I guess I will just have to try harder to cut down on that stuff.

You're fine. Some people just can't handle being told they're wrong.

if the trade is made we wont have space. Orlando is trying to add hedo or richardson to any deal made meaning we will be stuck with them if howard leaves

By the way, Josh Smith is staying in Atlanta now that JJ are gone and possibly Dwight joins him in 2013. So I don't see us getting him which is a good thing.

So is July 14th the day Dwight is most likely dealt?

Orlando probably wouldn't mind a sign & trade. Houston would love it, but Dwight would have to agree to it, and wouldn't unless it was a team where he'd want to be.

@AlexKennedyNBA: Last night, Andrew Bynum posted, "Does blue suit me?" on his Facebook page. Is he hinting that he'll be dealt to the Orlando Magic? #hmmm

This sure is how it looks. But presumably Morey has some indication, unseen by us fans, that Howard would sign with Houston. Otherwise, it is the height of foolishness.

Magic just S&T'd Ryan Anderson to New Orleans for C Gustavo Ayon, who really isn't that bad. They now have a center they can use on their roster, and I would think trading Anderson would be a sign that they are looking to rebuild. Sounds like our package might be the right one yet.

Adrian Wojnarowski: Without an extension with Lakers, Andrew Bynum has a short list of teams he will consider in 2013 free agency, league sources tell Y!

Adrian Wojnarowski: Bynum has shown no inclination to agree to an immediate extension if sent to Orlando as part of a Dwight Howard package, sources tell Y!
