That's the truth. Guys on 610 don't watch rocket games. That's the crux of the problem.

Frank Caliendo (and Josh's dad) Vs. Josh Innes

Pretty funny stuff. The audio is all over out there.

My car was in the shop a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn't listen to Sirius for about a week. Honestly, if you listen to any local sports talk regularly, my opinion of you has just gone down several notches.

After a week, I wanted to gouge my brain out through my ear canals. It's like the GARM, but with the added narciscim of being handed a microphone and being told that your opinion is actually important. For a group that takes themselves so seriously, there could not possibly be a less relevant group on the planet. Listening is like being locked in a room and forced to read facebook updates from a group of teen girls for eternity.

Ha, same here. I tuned in to 610 a few times over the past couple weeks to try to keep up to date on the Rox talk. They were ignorant about the salary cap and how that affects player movement, the CBA and how that affects player contracts, and they were lacking any real knowledge of the good young players and how they may develop. They seemed to want to talk more about gays, p*rn, and getting chicks.

They just sound like casual t-shirt fans, not professionals that do their homework before they speak. I won't return until footbal season.

Hmmm..you sound like a 610 employee. Anyone who is a clutchfan and listens to that nonsense knows that it's obvious josh Ennis is on a mission.

Just curious as I am not from Houston, I do go over to their websites and listen sometimes trying to find Rockets related stuff. I found it a lot easier in 610 to listen to specific rockets segments, in 790 they have a rockets section but I dont feel like its complete because its only official rockets that are in that part, I tried to find clutch's interview with them and was not able to. Which show should I be listening to on 790 that has the most rockets related talk? do any of you have the problem I have?

Lolol...good post. I would say that 790 morning is way better and lance is pretty funny and at his best during football. Matt thomas is pretty good too...Charlie is in. League of his own. I don't like the mighty quinn....his voice annoys the hell out of me. 610 all around is a joke. John Lopez has no purpose what so ever...a blatant Aggie homer. Josh innes is a dope with a sense of entitlement for some reason and the late crew with Barry warner is wet bacon bits....pointless.

I agree with you as well! This may be the BIGGEST reasons to why FAs don't wanna come here - if they hear that the Houston sport broadcasters are bad-mouthing the Rockets front office/organization, it destroys their credibility in wanting to build a winning team.

I also cannot stand all the negativity around Morey - talkin about "it has been x # of years and he needs to make it happen this year!" I would like to know which other team(s) has lost BOTH of their Superstar players to injury in the same year and have rebuilt their team within 2 seasons... none come to my mind.

Morey graduating from MIT has NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW GOOD OF A GM HE IS/ISN'T. I'm so tired of hearing that argument. Anyways both stations have been talking s***, and thats what they will continue doing until we see some sort of progress..

I hear ya! I listen to 610 because they spend A LOT of air time on the Rockets and Texans. I just wish it weren't always the same things reworded. It sounds like they get their information from Clutchfans.net... They would read what we write before each show for their facts. Then they make a stupid opinion on one topic, THEN they scream that opinion in a whiny voice as if they are the masters of the NBA universe and repeat it every 10 minutes or so. After all this, the one guy finally convinces the other dude to sway his way... Either that or the second dude decides to quit fighting it and agrees to not cause anymore friction.

Anyway, I listen to as much 790 as I can, but they mix in other sports that I don't care about. And every time I go to 1560, there's a commercial or uninteresting topic. So to answer your question, yes, it is easier to find Rockets talk on 610. But if they don't cut this chauvinistic crap, they are going to go under!

After reading this 1st paragraph I stopped because you said it all right there!! Sure the draft & offseason hasn't gone quite to our (fans) liking... But those of us who know and understand basketball "know" that it's absolutely silly/restarted to think the season will start and HOU will have no 1 or 5 on the roster.. it may / won't be D Will & Dwight but we aren't gonna make Patterson run the guard while Scola defends the paint @ 5...
