I would but with the kids that i've managed to talk to and their parents , they've only willingly gave up vague information with the least amount of other names given. The other names that have been giving, come with no other information whatsoever just their name, no phone number or address. I'm basically doing the police's job up until Monday when they'll get started.
I feel for you man. was there any fights within the family and did she hang out with a bad crowd in school?
No fights within the family and if she hung out with the wrong crowd, she was in a correctional school surrounded by that kind of lovely people.
My parents have always been against paying up ransom money. Although the situation isnt exactly like that, it would still be like rewarding people for something that shouldn't even need to be payed for.
I'd hint at legal action before paying these kids. Let them sleep on going to jail, hint at legal expenses to their parents. Parents will put pressure on, they don't care if their kid tattles, they just don't want a hassle, costs or trouble.
Remind them 1. You don't have a NO SNITCHING POLICY 2. Come monday their names will be among those given to police. 3. Explain to them what Aiding and Abetting means Maybe time for Hardball. Positive and Negative ReInforcement together may losen some tongues Rocket River
Go to one of her best friends' homes. Talk with the parents while she is in the room. Ask them to have her use her cell phone to call or text her.
Sorry to hear about your sister and sorry to hear about the kids refusal to give you information. They have no idea about why people follow a "no snitching" policy, they don't do it to be cool.....
horrible age range to deal with. i'm 18 and never understood why teenagers do things to be "cool". i do stupid things sometimes too but you gotta know the limit
Good luck I hope u find ur sister this is a really sad story and I hope she turns up soon I don't know were u live but try to see if u can maybe use the neighborhood cameras or a neighbor might have cameras and ask if u can use theirs good luck
I have very little advice to provide. Finding a way to log in to the cricket account and/or calling cricket to threaten legal action sound like a good option. Hopefully the threat of lawsuits and bad publicity help you guys find out who she is using her phone with. If they don't respond quickly, I'd hit up the local news and have them help you get all over cricket's ass. Otherwise, I can only offer my best wishes and hope that this ends positively very very soon. Good luck dude.
Just ask your mom to call Cricket and act like your sister. She can either ask for them to email the call log or to give you the account password.
