If it's New York, a deal needs to be contingent on a handshake not to match Lins offer sheet. Miami I would take the 76ers pick.

If we can get Norris Cole I don't care if Lin gets matched.

FYI, Norris Cole doesn't make enough to make a Camby S&T work without including additional guaranteed contracts. Salary-matching rules for Miami would make the maximum starting salary for Camby straightup for Cole at pretty much the same as the veteran minimum.

If the Rockets can make the cap math work, perhaps Cole, a S&T of Juwan Howard and the 2013 PHI first rounder might be enticing. However, that will mess up some other plans they have with their cap room and may also foul up any chance to either keep or get value for Courtney Lee.

More likely, a deal will get done with New York, garnering the Rockets some combination of a second rounder (possibly a 2016 late first rounder) and a bit of cap relief (i.e., taking back a contract like Brockman's).

I'd want Shumpert or a 1st round pick and expiring contracts.

Time to play hard ball. That's what I would demand but I would give Camby and throw in Morris or one of the Milwaukee guys.

Camby has made over a 100 mil. Maybe he just wants a ring.

If money were no issue for Camby, then he would not have postponed his visit to the Miami Heat. The Heat without a doubt are the best landing spot for him, both from a championship standpoint and a starting standpoint. He would be a backup on a mid-level Eastern Conference playoff team with the Knicks.

Money (which in most players' minds equals RESPECT) is certainly a factor with Camby.
