This is what needs to be talked about. The only reason, maybe, is because we are really secretly rebuilding.

The rich get richer; the poor get poorer.

L.A. is loaded, who do they get? Anybody they want, cap space or no cap space.

Miami is loaded, who do they get? Anybody they want, cap space or no cap space.

What do the Rockets get? Dinner with Barack.

Bynum is a free agent after this season just like Howard. Unless Bynum agrees to sign an extention in Orlando then he's of no use to the Magic. They would be right back in the same senario with a lame duck center who will be a free agent at the end of the season. If they are going to go that route then they'd be better off just keeping Howard...better player, better trade value.

Give me a freakin' break, dude. When I read that Luis Scola was "soft," I quit reading. You can criticize his defense, and that he's in his early thirties (if that gives you heartburn), but soft? Scola is anything but soft. Do you ever watch Rockets games called by the other team's broadcast crew? Well, I use League Pass and subscribe to NBATV so I can watch all the games, at least half are called by the "opposition's" crew, and I've lost count of the times they have described Scola as tough, including this past season. With all due respect, you're crazy.

Not willing to acknowledge better trade value; Bynum is not a soap opera and talks about resigning if traded. More O skilled; but more physically a question (oops, these is that back thingy, eh Dwight?). Good D (better D than HoHo's O).

BTW - - shaping up today for 7/1/13, who is likely to be cash on hand (Howard, Bynum, CP3)? Mavs, Rox, any 'relevant' team? Oh, there are teams who seem to vault beyond the capitol restarints of mere mortals...

Sounds like Morey doesn't really want DH any more... or he's only willing to pay a bit more than he knows the others can offer, whereas the Magic had stars in their eyes from all the stuff it looked like the Rox would give up. Anyhow, now I'm thinking he ain't coming here.

Bynum will not be a free agent after this season, he won't be a free agent until the summer of 2014

False. Bynum's contract ends after this season.

I have a strong feeling that Orlando wants our package of draft picks, expiring contracts, and young prospects, which the lakers cant provide.

And Dwight Howard really don't want to play in Houston

And Bynum really don't care where he plays as long as he gets paid.

Therefore, why don't we give Orlando what they want, and Orlando gives LA Howard, we get Bynum? win-win-win, right?

Trade must not be "imminent" as here we are the next day and nothing has changed.

Gasol and Donuts? HHMMMMM....Asik also? With the Rooks? That sounds like a fun team to watch frankly. Gotta start somewhere. Throw in AB and Lin? let's see what happens.

The tension is KILLING me! I hope it doesn't stop!

Not in mentality but in playing style, flopping all over the place and settling for jumpers. 60% of his shots are jumpers and the team gets more freethrows when he's not on the floor. He can't block for ****.
You may like him but I don't want a PF getting big minutes to be a liability on defense, no shotblocking and jumpers instead of drawing fouls.

And I have league pass and NBA TV too, so don't start on that. Plus I watch all the International tournaments and followed him back in his Europe days.

To repeat myself, soft in playing style. You guys always think it's about mentality.
