This is the only thing that has happened this offseason that the GARM hasn't had to really sit and contemplate whether this was a good move or not.

Finally, something we don't have to sit down and convince ourselves of.

BTW that's not to say I don't like the other moves, but those other moves at the end of the day are catastrophic if we don't end up with Dwight past this year. No other way to slice it really....

This. This we can just be happy about - in the present.

I think he's better looking than parsons. He kind of looks like Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Also he looks ripped! looks like he added a lot of clean lean muscle
which is hard to do for a person as tall as him.
It really seems like he is trying to improve in every area they told him to.
Maybe he really is gonna turn out perfect like he said he strives to be.
    ;)

D-MO I think is the most talented player we've had post Ming-Mac era. Dude's extremely polished, somewhat athletic, has high Bball IQ and isn't afraid to bang inside.

Prospect wise there's nothing to hate about him, he has the killer instinct, works on his game, is a gym rat, and is comfortable in the post, perimeter, face up. I think the comparisons to Gasol are spot-on, he has that kind of inside-out game. I'm excited for his future in the league, and am wondering to see how he'd play alongside Asik. If we could convert White or TJ to the SF position full time, we'd have one hell of a frontcourt.

It means we can't for 30 days. August 5th is still 2.5 months before the season starts.

He is McHale's ideal protegee. Skilled, young, hardworking, in perfect health, and with enough beneath the ears so McHale's words won't be wasted on him.

Would be a great 4 to play alongside Howard.

Why is this not a sticky? I know it's an expected move. But at least it's good news...

I keep saying it, but he is one of the main pieces I want to come out of this off-season (whether we get the 1 year rental coach killer or not). D-Mo, Lamb, Parsons, White and future 1st rounders.

So why exactly can't this guy play C?

If it's just purely a weight situation, can't he beef up a bit by training camp?

To be honest, I was surprised that this was news... I thought he was already signed.

Can't wait to see him in action!

SL can't come soon enough. I need something tangible AND b-ball related to keep me occupied. All this offseason hype is bad for my health.
