ive read conflicting reports about his weight cut. sonnen is saying 20 lbs there, but he has also said he is only 13 lbs over which is nothing for him. also, 20 lbs of cutting is not abnormal for a guy his size either. he will be fine.
http://chaelsonnensaidso.com/ Good for a few laughs. Absolutely cannot wait for this fight on Saturday. Silva is my favorite fighter but I enjoy the comical aspect of Sonnen, the troll of all trolls!

Not only had Sonnen never officially applied for or received a therapeutic-use exemption allowing him to undergo TRT in Nevada, the California commission didn't even allow for such exemptions and still has no formal application process for it. When Sonnen told him before the fight that he'd been using testosterone, the only thing Dodd could do was wait for the drug test results to come back, he said. When they did, it was bad news for Sonnen. A little over a month after his loss to Silva, the CSAC informed Sonnen that he'd tested positive for abnormally high levels of testosterone. A normal adult male generally has a testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio of 1:1. World Anti-Doping Agency standards allow for as high as 4:1. According to Dodd, Sonnen's ratio was 16.9:1, which triggered an immediate suspension. Read more: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...s/07/05/chael-sonnen/index.html#ixzz1zsAfem6p
Sonnen is a professional weight cutter. He's been doing it since his wrestling days. It's not like he didn't know his weight leading up to the weigh in.
He stated in one of his interviews that he's never had this much weight to cut 24 hrs before weigh-in and that this is a whole new experience for him. Mike Dolce seems pretty legit, though.
Yea last fight he never applied or disclosed to anyone he was doing the testosterone replacement therapy, but the article goes on to talk about how he was approved in May for a "therapuetic-use exemption for testosterone". Last time he failed to disclose it and fought with testosterone ratios 17 times that of a normal man. This time, he not only disclosed it but got approved for using TRT, are they going to allow him to fight with testosterone ratios 4 times higher than what they allow for athletes like he did in the first fight or are they going to make him fall under that specific limit?
Thanks for that info. What are the odds Chael actually stays under that ratio? I'm guessing 20%, he's been looking jacked recently. Here's Dana on TRT. When asked if he would ban it he gives a simple "yes". The TRT talk starts around 9:00 <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/NsFNygUwPC0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
dur, not sure how to embed videos. watchout, anderson might do something crazy tomorrow night. lets hope so!
I've heard conflicting reports as well in regards to the exact amount of weight he has to cut. Whether it's 20 or 15 or hell even over 20 I can't see Sonnen NOT making weight. Tomorrow is going to be the biggest day of his entire life.
