As always, no PBP in the thread. If you need that try one of the game cast sites. Keep discussion to this series. If it is not about this series it goes somewhere else.

7-6 Yovani Gallardo, RHP vs. J.A. Happ, LHP 7:05 on FSH

7-7 Zack Greinke, RHP vs. Wandy Rodriguez, LHP 3:05 on FSH

7-8 Marco Estrada, RHP vs. Jordan Lyles, RHP 1:05 on FSH

I will be at the game on Saturday. Hopefully will see a good pitching match up.

In the loss column, we are already (tied) slated for the #1 pick.

Of those teams in the cellar with us (Colorado, San Diego, Chi-Cubs), only the Cubs stand a chance to be worse for the remainder of the season. Id say we pick either #1 or #2 with a very high probability.

With the bigger draft pool, I'm happy to have the top pick. The difference between the 1st pick pool and the 5th pick pool is huge.

There's really going to be a drive to tank that last month.

Hah, today was the first day I decided to focus on the minor league clubs and I gotta admit: I'm a lot more relaxed. What did Schafer do this time?

For anyone who's interested: Ross Seaton has a no hitter going through 5 with 2bb and 6k's at AA

Astros going have the worst record in baseball after night. Any thought of moving Jimmy Paredes to CF? He is a good enough athlete to play the position. He is never going hit enough power to be a starting 3B and 2B is blocked by Jose Altuve.

Would absolutely love this. Why not experiment at this point because he's not coming up at 2nd or 3rd. There's no justification for Schafer to even be starting and especially not leading off!!
