Why is it so hard for everyone to accept that the Rockets are rebuilding ... Not sure what else needs to be done to prove the point..

Chase, Dragic, Lowry, Dalembert all are gone..

    Scola and Martin are next...

Lin was signed to what is really a 3 year deal to appease the owner.

Asik is a young very promising center that plays the hardest position to fill.

The Rockets will not come out and say they are rebuilding, but they are..

The top end of the 2013 draft is strong...

Morey is playing chess, but the rest of the league is playing Go.

Yes, but it only takes one pawn to turn into a queen and boom, you've got yourself a game hanger. At least he's searching for a queen and not settling for a knight or bishop...

It is clear. Superstar or tank. What is the problem? The boo birds need to defend the alternative-- trying to move from 14 to 12 or 13

Potentially overpaying for Lin ,though I am sure he means bucks somehow,is the only question.

I think Morey's moves are a maneuver to corner Les into finally going into full rebuild mode. Although 3 years at the 14th pick should've been persuasive by itself.

If somehow Howard does get traded here, they'll roll with it, but if not then there is no choice but to rebuild.

I think we have to have a commitment to being bad for the next three years.

One thing Morey has a decent track record for is drafting. So I'm interested to see what he can pull off with a top 5 pick.

why dont sports writers write articles bashing the perennial teams that decide to tank?

at least we try to WIN and acquire superstar talent year in and year out. eventhough, we fail, at least we tried before Morey ran out of options...

    i aint even mad.

Going after Eric Gordon, Dwight, and trying to resig Dragic is NOT a sign of rebuilding. They dont wanna come here, and Morey struck out

Why would D Mo not get any playing time on the squad HOU has now? Nah I think he will get minutes. He might be one of the few bright spots of the upcoming season

Do not think Chicago will match, but I really hope they do so we can go into full tank mode.

I kept seeing people talking about the Rockets next top 5 pick. I was wondering is that top 5 pick is coming from the Raptors??

Better than having Lowry/Dragic as your best player. At the very least this offseason gets us off the treadmill.

Turning 3 lower picks into a higher pick then trading that to Magic for Dwight Howard.

    NBA equivalent of Alchemy.

I think this is slight of hand......they only offered the contract thinking there
is no way NY let's him walk and it will appear that we are going after a popular
    young player.
