Nope. It was written and sung by George Harrison. The recording was made with a little help from his friends.

Mavericks also interested in Brooks so I doubt he would pick Houston if given a choice.

Wasn't that one of the blowout wins vs the Lakers in the playoffs (right before half time).....and NOT in the 22 game win streak?

Yep,we had 2 pure pg's and the rockets won 1 or 2 more games. Brooks is a pg period. Is he steve nash or rondo? No, but if he's healthy, teams fear him more than lowry because he can get to the rim. Id rather have brooks for 5m vs lin for 8 anyday. I hope they do resign him and stop with the foolishness about royce.

I thought Brooks was already 28, with a chance of turning 29 next year. But he's 27, will be 28 during next season.

If your next unrestricted free agent options after the higher tier of guards are Raymond Felton, Nate Robinson & Kirk Hinrich, or Lou Williams still left, might as well go with Brooks.

I'd be fine with taking a flyer on Brooks. His value is super-low since his injury/crazy season when he was traded for the Dragician. I believe he could turn it around. This guy used to be the darling of Clutchfans.

If Manu would never have thrown out that greasy ankle.. Brooks career could be much different.

AB can be a good acquisition at the right price for the right number of years. He does have a high level shooting touch and quickness. Not so great on D or pushing the ball on the break, but can be useful. If he's coming in at half the price of Dragic, not sure there is a better use of the cap space.

The guy never really declined since his career season, he just met bad luck with the ankle injury and never got a shot after that to take the reigns of the team... the guy could still have it?

Definitely not win #22. I remember Artest lobbing it up from halfcourt to Brooks on that one. Artest was not around for the 22 game winning streak.

I love a guy who dribbles with his head down and jacks up 3's with 10 seconds left on the shot clock.

AB's probably the best FA option out there at this point. I never thought he'd be back, but it makes a lot of sense now.

On this team right now you only pick up a guy if:
    1) He will help make your young players better. Train them on the floor and off.
    2) He's a trade chip for a better piece. Sorry but true.

While there may be other side reasons, if you pick him for anything else then you are taking steps backward as a team building for a championship.

Does Brooks fit that mold? I don't think so. He chucks too much which doesn't help a young team or player progress. In fact chucking has the opposite affect. And while he may be an ok off the court, I'm not sure his kind of play on the court is a model for the young people to follow.

Now his no D is good for some Ls so you do have that going for you...
