    No offense to Lowry (whom I also like), but Aaron Brooks has had several more star performances in meaningful games than Lowry has. People here like to remember Ron Artest winning us that playoff series against Portland and taking us to 7 games against the Lakers. Truth is that Ron played like crap in all of those games except game 6, while Yao and Brooks provided the one-two punch that knocked out Portland.

    I think he is worth another shot. Maybe he flames out again, but I see no reason to treat him like a pariah when he had some truly great moments for this team.

    I think you are missing the absurdity of it all. One doesn't have to dislike AB to feel a sense of "been there, done that, time to move on" when confronted by a "report" like this. It's all too much, and I'm not quoting George Harrison from the Yellow Submarine soundtrack..

    His game went into the toilet in Phoenix. Before that ankle injury, he was playing like someone we could now use as a microwave-type 6th man. If he's 100%, he's worth a look. I hope he's humble, and hungry.
