Did it two weeks ago for first time. I would consider myself pretty experienced with psychedelics, but dmt was a step above everything else. I put on 'Right In Two' by Tool and took about 3 really good rips. Then for the next ~15 minutes I was just in a different world. When my eyes were open I would see the room as a geometric grid, with the walls bending and breathing. With my eyes closed I kept seeing a multicolored octopus twirling around in front of me, I know that probably sounds way out there but its what I saw and it was glorious lol. I cant even remember the whole 15 minutes is the sad part lol just too much going on. Will probably try it 1 more time and be more focused on remembering the whole experience. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have had multiple experiences with other psychedelics .
i'm interested, but confused how temporarily changing the chemistry of your brain opens you to new religious ideas, do you think god is putting these images into your head... or the dmt?
Ha ha ha. Ayahuasca. A beautiful thing a Latvian friend of mine introduced to me long before I met my first Peruvian shaman. Long before I knew about the collective consciousness of the universe. Long before... life outside of the 5 senses existed. It's a wonderful short cut, but not the true path to finding out the power of the mind and existentialism. Once all your self-preservatory barriers (ego, sense of self) are broken, it cracks the mind and gives you a glimpse into the world at it's highest level. It allows you to see things without limitations, without the shackles of structured conditioning and societal repercussions. Some call it enlightenment, some call it mental clarity, some just call it the bomb. But if your mind is ready, the answers will come. Unfortunately, very few people are mentally prepared to make the most of their experience. The biggest issue is most people don't take it in it's authentic form - it's an intricate procedure, and not something than can be perversed into a 15 minute powder called DMT, or a tea that hardly causes you to vomit and gives you minor hallucinations and palpitations for 5 hours. But that's the nature of the West, to pervert the purity of the process and find the easiest way to get their feet wet without fully jumping in. Another issue are the mental barriers. The common man lives with too much fear, too many reservations, too much doubt, too much ego and a false sense of superiority that comes off as "confidence". So when you insert a chemical into your body that tries to temporarily push these aside, their immune system goes into overdrive and it's... a horrifying experience where nothing is gained. If you're somewhat of a dreamer and not too concerned about all the petty crap that runs through the mind of the every day man, you'll get great results your first time, regardless of environment. It's just a peak into the possibilities. Not a solution. The stories I've heard and things I've seen are not some half assed rant about the stars and moon and cheese flavored walls. They are gripping, brutal and eerily accurate insights into the reality of human nature, the world around us, and how that person fits in relative to all of this. I've reached the point where this knowledge, this knowledge that chemicals like Ayahuasca give you a peak into, pumps through my veins, collecting in my testes and bursting out of me in the form of semen. Into the mouths and bellybuttons of girls all around the world, idly waiting for direction in life. Waiting, to see life the way the immortals see it. Waiting to be knighted by the almighty sword of grace, excellence and love without boundaries. And the consensus always is some derivative of... the truth never tasted so good.
I've been trying to get a hold of DMT or Ayahuasca (a variant of DMT) for a while..no luck. Apparently on ayahuasca, you lose your sense of ego. People apparently even use it as a cure for certain mental illnesses (depression, bipolar disorder, etc...). Hopefully i can find it soon, just to experience what its like.
Don't pansify the experience like a ProfessorJay type. He considers trips on "Carnival" cruise ships surrounded by Americans in tropical shirts and jorts buzzed on watered down Budweiser as an exotic vacation. "Yeah, we stoppped over in the Bahamas for a couple hours, had a beer at a local bar and now I know the entire culture." ... If you want to get wet, jump in the water. Don't dip your feet in and giggle. Go to South America. The truth comes to those who are ready for it.
You know you are right...i think i will go head first and get the full experience...change the diet, no sex and all that jazz. Maybe ill take a little trip down south in December Just need to work out the logistics.
The first and only hallucinate ive ever done happens to be dmt... what a great experience... i have a very open mind and am skeptic of everything in society so it opened me even more... My experience was as follows... I was a puppet on strings being controlled on what to do. Dancing around i was coming in and out of the trip(really i was jus sitting back down and closing my eyes). But everytime i came back to the room looked different and the stripes on the rug under me changed everytime. everytime there was a different colored aura around me. When i started coming down i was tellin my friends i knew how they were changing the stripes configuration and the color of the room. They stayed silent untill i fully came too. Said i kept getting up (and since you lose control of motor functions) so they kept telling me to sit back down(the coming in and out of the trip was a reault of this, standing up acting like a puppet and them worried and telling me to sit back down). It was a fantastic experience and i would do it again... ive done a lot of mythology style research and already didnt believe in religion(no offense to anyone who believes, i dont judge you so sont judge me). But after the experience i started lookin into spirituality... there is an interesting set of videos on youtube called 'spirit science'... its very informative and interesting(even if its in cartoon form)... i also found out about the law of attraction and am a believer of this as well... If you have expereinced dmt and enjoyed it, or just have an open mind and would like to do research on other things i suggest looking into both spirit science and the law of attraction... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_attraction rough outline. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DPDMzvJOu9vQ&v=PDMzvJOu9vQ&gl=US This is the first of the series. I really like the 4th one(its the first i saw) but there is alot of good ones...
I wish i could rep you fine sir... i would give this the max possible rep, go rep a bunch of random people jus to come back and rep you again...
in before the DEA-wannabes come into this thread. Ronny sums it up quite nicely. rep for you my higher dimensional friend

Brain chemistry and structure are fairly conserved in humans. Most drugs/substances affect people in similar ways. It shouldn't be too much of a stretch to see that most people would be affected by substances like DMT in similar ways. One of my favorite shpongle songs: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/awChThLHAKQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
This, definitely. Still, a great experience if taken with the right mindset. As a friend of mine came to, all she said was, "words are nothing," then proceeded to paint this... I've also seen someone with the WRONG mindset try it, and that was ugly. She had pure terror in her eyes and thought she had lost it for good.
Awesome long post, Ronny.. Gotta spread rep But it isn't just as easy as just heading down to South America is it??? Don't you have to sorta be "tested" and jump thru some hoops just to see if the tribe deems you ready and on top of that, get the green light from the Shaman??? I hear it can be a rigorous process. I can appreciate DMT simply because I know me going to South America is out of the question for right now so if the opportunity to do DMT finally comes up, there's no way I can pass. Hell. Yes. I self discovered the Law of Attraction 4 years ago and it has changed my life ever since. I owe everything and anything I've ever accomplished to the Law Of Attraction. It's a terribly misunderstood way of living by mainstream standards and DVD's like "The Secret" just don't do it much justice (then again, I think ANY one person would be hard pressed to make a dvd that would.) But my adventures down the path of the Law of Attraction is what eventually lead me to a freer spirituality, meditation, lucid dreaming and of course, DMT/Ayahuasca Correct. There was some research from a university (maybe somewhere in Arizona???) that took 40 random adults ranging in ages from 30-40 who had never taken any hallucinogens They were placed in a huge safe room and instructed to not speak with each other during the duration of the test. Fed them all shrooms, they tripped, and once coming back to Earth, asked a series of questions individually. And if I'm not mistake somewhere over 75% of those people all experienced the same visuals, hallucinations, images together without sharing what they saw with each other. So researchers are starting to believe where shrooms, acid, dmt, etc take us is the one big alternate dimension. I've heard people call it the 4th and 5th dimension. And only thru DMT/Ayahuasca could you break into the 6th. Perhaps hallucinating is us just taking the red pill instead of the blue
I've also read that this dimension/world is the only place where true religion can be found. No offense to anyone who's religious, but it's all man-made in the sense that it's adaptations and (often times) misinterpreted in translation. In 2006, a study at John Hopkins took 36 adults, avg age of 46, who had never tried any psilocybin (the main ingredient in shrooms that causes hallucinations basically), didn't have a drug history and all who did have a strong a religious belief. They observed for 8 hour intervals in a lab. 1/3 of the participants stated that it was the single most spiritually significant moment in their lives. More than 2/3 reported it was top 5 most spiritually significant moments and two months following 79% of precipitants still reported increased well-being or satisfaction while a number of those people who had reported anxiety and/or depression had significantly dropped or completely ridded themselves of it all together. The Govt just doesn't want us expanding our mind. But that's a whole nother thread.
I actually found out about law of attraction thru the dvd the secret... and being a skeptic at heart it seemed like a way to feed off peoples wants to make a profit... but even tho i felt that way, i strongly believed in the theory... especially after doing much more research about spirituality and what not... not to mention all life form is is energy... it is definately worth looking into... it also opened up my mind even more than it already was... ive never been big about drugs... dont really like doing them(altho i confess a extasy pill every now and then i do enjoy)... but i had never done hallucinates and never wanted to, but boy am i glad i did... havent done it since or any hallucinate because i lived in vegas at the time amd now im back in texas... i wanna try shrooms next, albeit i hear its more of jus trippin and not so much about enlightenment...
