    So, why would a player option be such a deal breaker? That's like 4 years down the road. Anyone else think that's a strange reason/excuse?

    I want to believe you, OP, because I'm so bummed out and confused by the seeming lack of direction shown thus far after the end of our season that I'd love to hear a "feel good" story from a fan that puts the Rockets' front office in a better light. I want to believe you.

    I think it's strange to let that be the deal breaker when you made such a huge push to have him stay after the season.

    Morey probably needed to vent/talk to some fan. I bet he's been working like 16 hours a day for 2 months now. It did him good to try to win a fan back.

    Ok I think I have it figured out....Morey is slowly acquiring every power forward in the league so that people will eventually have to trade with us???

    rockets dont offer player options. If they want to keep you they will extend you not give you the option to leave or stay
