Will David Stern veto NY offer sheet match??? Didn't he dogged us last year??? Maybe he will make it up???
"What if.....?"........"If so............" The host of this history channel keep using the term "If so...." i had to crack up every time. "If so...." "what if alien exist..."
Yeah, Knicks will match. As certain as the Rockets matched Lowry's offer sheet couple years back. Who else is a good as Lin on the horizon for the Knicks thats not a total patchwork job? Thats the beauty of it. Rockets get free money for jacking around the offers of other team's players.
no brainer they will match. Even has a back-up Lin brings to much excitement to the city. NY wants to be the franchise of Asians everywhere.
Only a $5 mil hit. If money is a concern, same goes for the Bulls with Asik, they can trade him later in the season or next year.
Knicks management is dumb but not that dumb. from a financial standpoint lin is their MVP. they also do not want to start an old pg that shoots 35% and averages 5 points a game.
Isn't the difference that in the third and fourth years of the contract Lin would receive more with Houston then with Knicks?
fourth year is a team option.. so only 3rd year at 10 million.... would be painful Moreys offer is too weak.... should of made it 5,5,15 knicks would think twice.
