Man I thought I would never see such comedy again from Houston GMs. Darly Morey has just join the likes of Tim Purpura, Ed Wade, and Charlie Casserly. What a sad day in Rocket land.
My feelings exactly. It's like Ed Wade has taken over the team in the sense that we should prepare ourselves to be underwhelmed by moves and returns on trades from here on out. Quite sad, used to love watching Morey do work. He's seemingly lost his magic touch. Hope he gets the mojo back real soon.
Why is everyone so down on bringing Brooks back? He is still pretty young and is a very good player. I want Lin, but if we can't get Lin I'd be more than happy to have AB back.
It's because he was MIP when he left!!! wait... He played behind nash for half a season and did nothing...wait, everyone plays behind Nash Has to be he left for China and played in that league..since he left the NBA, that means he's no good. As far as I can remember, the little f&cker can still ball and since he's been absent for a year; it's a what have you done for me lately league and fan base. Not saying that Kyle didn't earn it, but lets be honest....If Ginobli would have never stuck his euro foot under Aaron right before half time...kyle would probably still be a backup
This is a serious move. Brooks has changed in his year in China. The fans there love him. Bringing him to Houston with Lin and Howard would bring back all of the Chinese fans. Lin/Brooks Martin Parsons/Forbes Patterson/Morris Howard The Rockets are aiming high. If it happens I guarantee Howard signs an extension here. He won't walk away from all of the marketing appeal, advertising revenue and extra contract revenue. His sponsors will pay him whatever he wants as long as he stays in Houston. He would also be in a good situation to compete with the Rockets organization.
Well it is official, the Rockets front office finally chose Brooks over Lowry. And, all kidding aside, we need a PG - so why not? He would thrive under McHale's PnR game - and is an excellent shooter to put next to Parsons and White as an outlet pass. I still wanted Dragic though, which takes some of the fun of possibly getting AB back. DD
