Basically, we'll get it if it's within a certain range of picks. If they make the playoffs and the pick is too low, we won't get their pick that year but they'll still have the obligation to give us a pick falling within our desired range in the future.

We don't have to pay that large amount all at the end of their contract!! It's the total amount of their contract divided by the number of years of the contract. It's set up so that the Knicks or the Bulls have to pay that large amount of their contract and not divided it over the number of years...
