Interesting. Why do you think that? Crawford's always been a solid 6th man (whether he starts with the Clips or not, he would seemingly serve a nice role).

I would be more cautious about Billups as I don't know the progress he's made from that injury, but if he's willing to take a backup role and can regain old form (and stay healthy), then that's going to be a tough team.

Unfortunately for the Clips their coach will hold them back from reaching full potential.

You know Ray Allen REALLY wants to go to Miami. Think about how many open shots he'll get? But, he knows its a big rival... should be an interesting decision.

I think Crawford is going downhill fast. His efficiency took a major nosedive last year and you can't blame it all on his relationship with Nate McMillan. He's 32 and sliding. I expect he will have more dud games than good ones for the Clippers.

Same exact thing for Chauncey Billups except he will be 36 when the season starts. Stick a fork in the guy. By playoff time, Billups probably will be completely out of gas if he isn't already injured and out for the year.

On top of those two, the Clippers have 32 year-old Caron Butler in their rotation. They better hope Lamar Odom's head is screwed on and he has a major bounce-back.

Maybe I'm missing something (or somebody) with the Clippers. They may not make the 2nd round next year unless Griffin and Bledsoe go to another level.

It's funny because Mo Williams played the gunner off-the-bench role last year (and is better than Crawford in this role), and now he's traded.

Nick Young is the worst black hole chucker ever. They went to the 2nd round last year with him. At least Crawford is more proven and hands out an assist once in a while.

On paper, Crawford + Billups > Young + Randy Foye. In actuality, maybe different.

But yeah, Crawford REALLY regressed last year. I don't think it improves them over last year. Its all what Griffin, Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan can bring extra

Adding Crawford sets them back IMO. Ray Allen would've been better, or no one at all and let Bledsoe play the 2.

Why are they trying to get older? These moves dont exactly make them contenders. Butler was a bad signing too. Plus they overpaid Jordan.

Clippers aint going anywhere for a while.
