San Diego Accidentally Set Off All Its Fireworks at the Same Time Folks in San Diego witnessed what was either the worst Fourth of July fireworks celebration — or the absolute best — when a technical malfunction caused all of their pyrotechnics to go off at the same time. The annual Big Bay Boom celebration began and ended in spectacular fashion when an inadvertent signal set off the explosion about five minutes early and caused the entire 18 minute show to take place in about 15 seconds. Confused spectators waited around for what they thought was going to be the rest of the show, but were sent home and told the show (that was supposed to be choreographed to music) was canceled. http://news.yahoo.com/san-deigo-accidentally-set-off-fireworks-same-time-085739445.html
pretty hilarious. i did that once as a kid. i had a big bag of fireworks. i lit a smokebomb and was waving it all around. i thought it would be cool to fill the same bag of fireworks up with smoke...not realizing sparks were concealed in that smoke (i was a kid). when i did that, the whole bag went up at once. it was quite the show for about 8 seconds. then, no more fireworks. i'm lucky i didn't have my head over the bag when it happened...or i would have been disfigured. it happened right near the bumper of my cousin's camaro at my grandma's house in south carolina. almost took his car with it but, thankfully, it didn't. i guess it is better to lose fireworks like that...then to have them confiscated by the po po. had that happen once in on my street in clear lake city. cops came...hid my bag of fireworks in the bushes. cops escorted us kids home not catching us redhanded but knew we were shooting them off. then, they surveiled the bushes and found my bag of fireworks. BOOO!!!
Eh....still not as much fun as putting a live frog in a soda can and tossing a lit M80 into it....
Once in middle school, my friends and I found a pack of Buds and some pr0n mags in the bushes behind where we played football. Friends took the Bud, I took the mag. Win.

Honestly I think that is cooler than what they probably had planned. It's like would you rather see a team win a championship 1 year and suck the next 9 years or would you rather have 10 years of consistent playoff fodder teams.
Because cities compete against each other to win the fireworks championship and they can trade types of artillery shells, resign current fireworks, acquire new rocket shells, etc.? I wonder if this is the Championship fireworks team. Dude, you can't even enjoy ONE damn pop (that's not what she said) because they all went at once. MALFUNCTION.
