I am an official Lurker on this board for many years. However, I do have a question to the serious ROX fans out there.

I know that we have alot of mixed emotions in regards to the team this year. Last Year, our team had some situations where I would use the term "exciting" to watch them. However, we still ranked 22nd in attendance.

My question to you all is, given how you feel right now and w/ the uncertainty that we will be very competitive how do you see that translating to attendance?

Do you plan to get/keep season tickets? Do you plan to buy tickets regularly?

The only teams with less attendance than us last year were:

    Hawks
Hornets ( Should eclipse us w/ the Davis Hype)
    Bobcats
    Bucks
    Kings
    Pistons
    Pacers

Based upon the roster now, and the belief that NY will match Lin's offer - the attendance will drop by a significant amount.

Personally, I believe Morey and the way he does business is at fault - it just seems he is like the boy who cried wolf, and folks no longer believe there is a wolf.

I thought the Rockets were going to be predatory and take advantage of poor teams like Sarver's Phoenix Suns, turns out, the Suns demise was greatly exaggerated.

They made significant progress towards getting better, the Rockets - well, we tried...again...

We'll probably have about 20 thousand people, watching at home. 2-3 people at the game.

Our attendance has gradually declined the last few years. I am a supporter of the Rockets but my support is going to be from my couch on Fox Sports.

Near the bottom as is expected from those lazy farmers, the city doesn't even deserve another championship. I am from overseas and unfortunately a huge fan of the Rockets despite not having any affiliation with Houston or whatever. Why can't I stop rooting for this team??

I refuse to support this garbage. Unless there are serious changes, I am not giving the team a dime. It's time to speak with the wallet.

I'm more likely to go this year than last. Looking foward to seeing the young guys play an develop. Last year I new they were middle of the road without much room for imporvement. Thank God for Parsons last year, or they would have been nearly unwatchable.

Same as last year or worst.

Then again, the Rockets poor attendance is because of the lockout and the super teams didn't come to town. Not a big deal. Back to full capacity next year.

Ha ha ha, those damn fools.
