So you think he likes the city more, and it has nothing to do with a guaranteed spot as the PG? Ok. I tend to disagree with that, but thats your opinion.

We will. Les is trying to get that China money. Re-spark the chinese interest and bring the circus that is Linsanity to Houston.

Les says he wants a championship, but money is more important to him, not realizing that spending in the short term to build a winner will bring in tons of $ in the long run.

    We did get something.

We got the opportunity, the great opportunity, to not have to pay Goran Dragic, when we have a better point guard at nearly half the price.

    Hooray Mooray! Goodbye Googi!

What better PG? Lowry is not better than Dragic, and his attitude is crap.

Is Lowry still on the team?

As long as Lowry is on the team, Lowry should start. If you're Goran Dragic, you want to be the starter. You sign IN HOPE of Lowry getting traded? Might as well go to Phoenix, where Nash just left, and you're guaranteed big minutes.

Then why would Mooray throw a similiar contract at Lin? If that was a backup PG contract, then Mooray is dumber than I thought.

CF is the worst. How is Goran better than Kyle? Off a 25 game sample, where Goran had free reign to do whatever he wants since Martin was injured? Kyle Lowry was basically an All Star last year. Come on

Lin is willing to come off the bench. While Morey tries to find a good deal for Lowry. As opposed to signing Goran, who the world knows wants to be a starter, and other teams knowing you must deal Lowry in order to keep Goran happy

There was every indication that Dragic would've started for Houston so I think its baseless to use a "guaranteed starting spot" as the reason he picked Phoenix.

My guess is that he prefers Phoenix, and the Suns have a better team (Gortat, Lopez, and possibly Gordon).

Lowry only fans are going to be in the same boat soon as he is traded to Toronto for a future pick.

I'm not really worried about lowry being mad,but there is a reason why memphis gave him away. He was sulking in memphis. He's a very competitive player who has shown he's a starting caliber pg. I mention this before, I would try to send scola, lowry, and patterson to utah for utah for al jefferson. Lowry is a better starter than williams at the point. Scola can get in the rotation and patterson is the young guy. Jefferson is in his last yr and could play the 4. If the rockets still have this foolish dream of howard rental, jefferson and his 15m expiring plus a youngster or 2 look better thanany other package for the rockets.

Simply, because he is a good player. The reason he didn't sign on the dotted line immediately, in my mind, was the same reason Dragic pussed out. Kyle Lowry is a monster, and will be the starter with a full training camp of ass kicking. Better hope he gets sick again if you want to start on the Rockets.

Yes, because the latest reports of Morey "asking for the moon for Kyle Lowry", greatly support your statement.

The last part is actually a worthy debate. If they sign Gordon then they should be a nice little playoff team with a couple of other moves. At least that much we can agree on.

So are Minny, the Clippers, the Grizzlies, and possibly New Orleans.

All have passed the Rockets during Morey's watch.

Play Lowry until around the trade deadline and move him then if the trades being offered are nothing special. I know that Toronto wants him but they have limited assets.

Lin will not be a Rocket, the Knicks will match the offer, they have too much to lose... the tax is not important.

Asik is the only center we have, and he has very good upside at the hardest position to fill. He fits into the rebuilding process.

Wouldn't be surprised if Martin is on the roster to start the season with a green light to shoot so his but can be moved for draft picks or young players like Evan Turner...

I really hope that at this point Les has softened on rebuilding... the top of the 2013 draft has a few very promising prospects, and seeing teams such as Phoenix strive for mediocrity gives me hope we can get a top pick next year.
