    And lin is a superstar????

    come on Dragic >>>> lin

    The arguments:
    1) Dragic is overpaid
    2) Dragic is not a star
    3) we have Lowry

this arguments falls in the same moment we offer Lin the same contract
    than Dragic.

I like Morey but this offseason start terrible and with no direction.

I have predicted Goran would be in the Suns for the Nash replacement in other threads, so I am right again. I knew Morey would not overpay any players except Howard, Gasol or Lin.

Im not going to debate anyone on Dragic's love for Phoenix vs. Houston. Thats ridiculous. He might love the desert. Who knows. What we do know is that he loved Houston, and he obviously loved Phoenix for whatever reasons. Probably good ones.

I so happen to believe that he chose Phoenix at the end of the day to secure a job as the starting PG, NOT because he loves bloody noses, and Frank Lloyd Wright. Making the case that he didn't like Houston gives no logic to the reason.

Is Goran willing to come off the bench?

It was widely known that Lowry was unhappy with McHale and was on the trading block. That does not translate into a guaranteed starting spot.

Like I said before, there are still suitors for Lowry. Had Dragic signed with us, Lowry would've been moved.

How is this relevant at all? Brooks was on his rookie salary.

If we pay Lin anywhere near what Goran got I am going to be sick.

Yes, but was the spot guaranteed? Is Morey the type of GM that will say there is no competition for your spot? Is Lowry not a top flight PG worthy of beating out another player?

Phoenix makes more sense because of the unknowns in Houston alone with playing time, and his role.

It's not that he disliked Houston. It's that he liked Phoenix more. And since Phoenix/Houston offered similar money, Dragic picked the place he liked more.

it does matter whether you're sick or not. it does matter due to his FA status. he IS RFA. if you really want him and don't want to waste your own time, you have to offer something which knicks may not be willing to match. otherwise, what the hell do you want to talk to him and offer him anything which won't scare off knicks?

The Rockets held all the cards, he loved Houston, they could offer more years and more $$$ than anyone else, and Goran gave them a chance to pony up and match the Suns offer and the Rockets said no.

Daryl Morey has lost his luster, now that he is letting talent walk out the door for no return.

    Dragic and CLee.

And overpaying for a stiff of a backup center - while not drafting one with 3 picks in the first round.

Yeah, I am done with Morey.

I seriously think that Dragic was not confident that HOU would give him the starting role with Lowry still on the team. Its interesting that he signed with PHX just as Nash went out the door. Had that been Lowry instead, Dragic would have still signed with us, imo.

News flash buddy..there will always be a competition for your job...do it...and u can stay...dont and someone will take your job...For Lowry...he got sick...and unfortunately for him...he lost is job to Goran...

Goran had the trust of his coach and McHale entrusted him with the job. If Goran was signed...Lowry was shipped...Since Goran wasnt signed...Lowry will stay...unless they get an offer that blows them away...(ie what the lakers offered for Nash...that is amazing!)

No, moving someone for nothing is what just happened with Dragic. They could have at least traded Lowry for SOMETHING. Anything at all is better than the NOTHING they got for Dragic.
