A team with no other challenger for a starting job.

All the 9/10 women of Scottsdale, AZ.

All the crazy women of Arizona State University.

    No humidity.

There are a lot of reasons for Dragic to prefer the Suns.

Oh you mean fire the guy that traded for Dragic in the first place? What a "downgrade" Dragic was. LOL.

You are probably one of the many pro-tankers, but now your upset that were heading that direction?

It's 7.5mil/yr. He gets a $1mil bonus every time he makes the All Stars.

The Rockets are now offering Lin more money. They are also allowing Lin a 4th year player option which they declined Dragic and was the dealbreaker.

I was all for letting him walk at 10, I thought his value was between 6-8. He got 7.5 guaranteed with 4 possible in bonus. You can't let your guys walk and not replace them with quality.

I'm very harsh on morey, but this isn't really on him. As I posted weeks ago about whether they can keep dragic, it was a situation in which it goes against his core. Morey is a safe and calculating guy. He like to be in full control of the variable. He couldn't trade lowry with dragic being unrestricted. If he traded lowry, he would lose any kind of leverage financial wise with dragic. He played it safe and phoenix got back dragic. If he really wanted dragic to return, he would've had to trde lowry so dragic can get paid and start.. I've said it before, I've never met a safe millionaire.

If they're acting like the Astros are now...taking their lumps while they develop young talent...I'm fine with that. There's direction with that.

I'd argue last offseason they acted like the Drayton McLane Astros adding Dalembert in a very Pedro Feliz-like fashion and refusing to be realistic about where they were and what it would take to get out of that mess.

If all of this is ultimately about rebuilding and getting younger, I'm great with that. I can live with losing if I can see a direction.

The problem is....they already pissed off Lowry. It was mis-managed from the start. Dragic had leverage because the only other PG (aside from Shaun Livingston) had gone public requesting a trade to get away from our coach who he can't stand being around.

woj was misleading all those idiots if you believe what he said.

the report said rox offered 8 mil and well dragic want a contract starting at 10mil. rox didn't believe he can get 10+ so told him good luck.

DD, tell everyone here. did dragic got a contract starting at 10? NO. he settled down with an contract pretty much same as what rox offered. if he can take the same contract, why he couldn't take the rox one? I have a very strong feeling he doesn't want to play for rox. otherwise, he has no any reason to refuse the exact same contract but to take other one.

Seriously ... What this deal should really tell most everyone here is that Dragic really didnt want to be here...and stop the rumors about not being guaranteed a starting Job. Dragic was starting here. Period. Bottom line, HE DIDNT WANNA PLAY IN HOUSTON ANY LONGER... hence why he overvalued himself at 10 mil...and no one offered it to him...He was just hoping someone would get close...so it would give him a reason to leave...the Suns offered 8.5 million...We offered 8...Houston was no longer something attractive for him!

This is crap. Just two weeks ago he was taking pics in his Rockets uniform, and said it repeatedly that he loves McHale, loves the city, and the org. If he didn't want to come back to Houston then why would he have negotiated with Houston first?

Its so simple, that I can't believe you and others dont get it. Its about the guarantee of being the starter going forward, which is something he has blantanly stated he is looking for, and the Rockets cannot offer that assurance with Lowry still on the roster. Stop giving into the controversy.

Right, but I don't see a direction and that is what worries me. Hopefully after the offseason is over we'll better understand where we stand but right now it just seems to be a jumbled mess.

Morey is the reason the Toybox has fewer fans, one day Les will figure that out.

He made it clear he wanted a starting job and with Lowry still here this wasn't a guarantee. Maybe not the only reason why he took the Suns offer but a big one on Dragic's eyes.

i guess nash leaving gave dragic a chance to start and diminished the chances he would be traded by PHO again. good for him.

now, can lowry quit whining and play some ball? or, does he still have a problem with playing for mchale?
