    "We're"

    And no....we're NOT.

I have NO idea what's up with my Rockets.

    Texans are the Houston Team...

Astros at least have a direction (full rebuild mode)....Rockets...WTF are they doing? Feels like they are stuck in limbo....

LOL! Morey couldnt pay him and then dissed him for Lin. He said ok and then called Moreys fat face bluff and signed for only 500,000 grand more per year than Morey offered. Chunked Morey the deuce and the middle finger. Lowballing Morey at it again.

Well, Martin and Scola are pretty much gone, most likely will be traded. The Asik signing seems kinda pointless now that Dragic won't be resigning. Might as well trade Lowry since we're going to be a bad team next season.

I do like our young players: Parsons, Jones, Lamb, White, Donuts. But they are young, they will struggle, and there will be some growing pains.

The Rockets are offering the same money to Lin.

The Rockets possibly offered less to Dragic at first. Then when the Suns offered 30 mil over 4yrs, they couldn't offer the same, but had to beat it.

Does it matter? Morey has mentioned more than a few times the awesomeness of tanking. Perhaps he's just convincing Les not to overpay just enough so that they all go elsewhere.

In the end, I don't think Les will keep the same team if we don't make marked improvement. And by improvement I mean at least sweeping changes on the scale of the hypothetical Gasol/Nene combo last year.

I think McHale started to regret how he treated Lowry last season. Is Lowry going to play hard for him next season? Probably not.

I don't get it. Why offer a contract to Lin that was equal to Dragic's? Why not offer that contract (+ bonus opps) to Dragic who has more experience and has marginally better numbers and is not coming back from an injury? And if it's because he wasn't offered a starting position, does that mean that the Rockets intended to keep Kyle? If you intend to keep Kyle, why offer Lin a 30M dollar contract?

    Doesn't make sense to me.

The Rockets likely did not offer it at first. Once another team makes an offer, they have to go higher to beat it.

If you had a chance to double your salary two years from now, would you risk that because you're not fully on board with your boss' ideas? Because that's what you're implying lowry would do.

God Rockets will be stuck for the next 20 years. Les doesn't want to win. I'm not saying Dragic would have gotten us a ring, but we can't get/keep anyone.

For those sad about the Dragic situation....

    ....yes; yet ANOTHER Dragic thread.

If you closely listen, the lyrics make too much sense here.

    Sissies? No.

He just needs to keep his mouth closed publicly. I like him and don't want to see him on the bench or traded.

As long as this doesn't turn into a trend, it's probably not a problem.
