    This could be a blessing in disguise. Trade Scola, have the new guys develop in their rookie season, have a suckfest for the next year, win the lottery, and we've got something golden.

    The rationale behind rebuilding/tanking is to get young talents. Now we are giving the most promising young talent away because we don't want to pay a fairly reasonable market price. Not to mention disgruntled Lowry/Martin/Scola is still in our roster. smh

    I agree. Cant believe people getting twisted over a guy who was a backup and had a good two weeks.

    People need to remember that Dragic was a part of one of the biggest choke jobs in Rockets history.

    Way too much whiny-estrogen-girly-guys on these boards these days.

    Lin is 2 years younger than Dragic. Now that Goran is gone I think Morey might drop Asik deal.

    Why pay someone almost 9 million per year when you know you won't be competing for a title? All it does is ruin cap flexibility and tread water. The Rockets finally look like they have a direction, and i couldn't be happier. I was in favor of the Asik signing, but if we're gonna do this the right way, maybe Morey should withdraw his offer.

    The way Morey has been pursuing deals left and right thus hardly feels like a rebuild. What it feels more like is a chickens head cut-off with running around with no direction. I quite frankly have no clue what we are doing. As long as we have the veterans around, I have a hard time seeing the rookies get time.

    Goran Dragic contract tweak: it's a 4-year, $30M deal with potential to be $34M from annual $1M All-Star bonuses. 4th year is player option.


    WIth this, I think Goran really wanted to go back to Phoenix instead or he wasnt confident that he would start here. Its the most logical explanation.
