Morey could have traded Flynn to a team like the Lakers( who at the time were offering a 2nd round pick). Morey overvalues TRASH, to the point where it hurts our team sometimes

 

Congrats to the Suns for securing the 9th spot of the western conference! Congrats on the 14th pick of 2013 draft! The Rockets no longer picks 14th and will be moving to top 8!

you should really question GS's scouts, coaches and GM. The had lin for more than a year.

 

I see no other source confirming this is legit
but if this is true, Morey is really screwed

 

If we were going to tank we had the perfect opportunity to tank this past season. lockout shortened season that we had no chance of winning in. We should've moved out the vets and tanked last year. If we're tanking now, that's a whole season of misery we have to go through just to get a "chance" to draft noels or shabazz.

Well Morey did get a first round pick for Flynn he did the right thing.

 

We used the 1st rnd pick to get Montejunas. I swear..you people are too ****ing stupid.

 

I seriously doubt we lost him because of 0.5 million. My guess is Morey offered $6 million, or something very close to what Lowry got. $2.5 million per year extra to a solid, but not all star caliber player is a lot because there are SEVERAL guys that fit that mold.

 

Good for Dragic. After the Rockets traded him in the Gasol Fiasco, all loyalty went out the window. But it's interesting to read the Dragic camp gave the Rockets the OPTION to match the Sun's offer.

But I'm thinking that Lowry is totally out of favor with the Rockets. Why else would the Rockets be going after Lin???

I'm betting there is some deal already in place to Trade Lowry, contingent on the Rockets getting another starting point guard.


I don't' blame the Rockets for not getting themselves in trouble all over again with exorbitant contracts. Dragic's contract of 8.5 million is reasonable, but the Rockets are in the Market for a Franchise Player.


Keep the contracts reasonable and everything will fall in place.

They also had Ellis, Nate Robinson, and Curry. the fact that they kept him over a year( and didnt completely cut him.. speaks more about how they thought of him)

On our hand we Dragic who was a free-agent at the end of the year, Lowry( who was the starter), and Flynn( who is a bum, and could have been had a meaningless future 2nd rounder).

I wish we had a franchise player. At first I thought brooks would be one then Lowry then dragic. But we haven't had. Franchise player since Yao and we despitatly need one who's to say god forbid chandler parsons walks in free agency in future we need s permanent face like Kobe in LA dirk in Dallas and tim in san Antonio
