I would guess they might be looking to prep for the summer of 2013 to make a run at Dwight or CP3 if they hit the market. Nash offer was rumoured to be a 1 year deal so that tells you something right there.

Or they could not match it and we'd be screwed.

My main issue with lin is that he did only start 35 games. Not that he wasn't legit, he was. But what are the chances he keeps it rolling? I mean in new york he had so much momentum, with the media and the fans. Now that he got injured, hype calmed down, scouting repots more detailed he has a huge loss of momentum and who knows what that will to do his game. Plus his injury could be a problem, will it even allow him to come back a 100%? Theres just a lot of question marks on how he'l pan out. So thats why i and other im guessing are not to excited about paying him anything over 6 mill and giving him our starter roll for 4 years.

Cuban is not going to have a subpar product on the floor. He knows that Dirk's window is quickly dwindling.

Yeah he can improve, or he can come out off his injury with his loss of momentum and suck...not gain any momentum and never improve.

I don't know why, but I get the impression that Lin didn't like playing with mellow last year. Just a feeling

...Who was comparing lin to nash? anyways, lowry is young as well at 25. I'll stick with him, not to say that lin can't be a great player. But i think lowry will be the safer move.

What video footage? I watched every game last year. McHale is a goon.

Melo was the one who got Lin the starting job when D'Antonio was going to cut him.

Honestly, I'd rather have Dragic. If we're talking same amount of money, that is.
