    Has to be 4 years. A 3 year contract for him cannot be more than $3 years, $25M (what Asik got). So, the #s are most likely something like: $5M, $5.2M, $10.1M, and $9.7M over the term of the 4 years of the contract.

    NYK will most like match, but they are basically guaranteed to pay tax if they do.

    I agree. The announcer must be mistaken. What she said is that the rockets have agreed to a deal with Jeremy Lin for 30 mil dollars over ? Years. I too checked Twitter to wonder Wth she was talking about because I have seen nothing to back that up.

    Knicks are going to have a hell of a bill to pay in a couple of years with Carmello, Amare, Chandler, and Lin's backloaded contract.

    Personally, if Lowry is really unhappy with the coach, then ship him off. I'm tired of teams bending over beause the players hate the coach. From the video footage we've seen, McHale is a solid coach. He's probably not as lenient as Adelman but he recognizes hard work and values the same.

    Well said man. I am not asian but I hate the soft racism that dominates the narrative surrounding Lin. I have been following him since his harvard days. The kid can flat out play. Can't wait to see Lin vs Dragic play. Will be a great battle I am sure.
