PG Nash SG Kobe SF World Peace PF Gasol C Bynum Bench: ???? Fantastic starting lineup though. Lakers and Thunder in the WCF will be quite the show.
Suns are SO stupid this offseason. Gave a max contract to an oft-injured player. Now sent your franchise player to a team IN YOUR DIVISION.
LMAO yea I dont buy it because hes said a few times that he wouldn't mind playing with Kobe The whole Brooklyn angle was to benefit Dan Fegan who has an established financial interest with the Barclay Center sponsors
This is worse than the Lakers getting Pau Gasol if the trade is what it sounds like. Those future picks will most likely be trash anyway
Kobe shoots 43% you know. That's not great for a #1 option either. At least Dwight should be the focus for 3 quarters, then Kobe can shoot all he wants in the 4th. Back to the trade, Nash will make them worse defensively (a lot worse). But their offense should be better since now Bynum will get a ton of touches playing with Nash. Kobe's offense is going to drop though b/c of less isos. I expect him to average less than 25 points next year, but that will be better for him long term.
Steve Nash to the Lakers In the Nash sign-and-trade, the #Suns will get 2013 & 2015 first-round picks and 2013 & 2014 second-round picks.
Eh, I don't mind it b/c they're still not better than OKC. Westbrook will run circles around Steve Nash. They will be much better on offense though, and should be the #2 team in the West now. Bynum/Gasol will benefit greatly from Nash.
Eh. Nash would be a better fit on a team like Indiana where they actually need a player that can handle the ball the majority of the time. I dont see how he fits in LA, he can definitely spot up and shoot which is good (top 5 shooter of all time in my heart) but Kobe loves getting the ball and doing isos most of the time... Kobe and Nash dont fit together at all.
Nash is a free agent. Could have left for Dallas or Toronto leaving PHX nothing in return. A few low picks are just about what the trade is worth now. All CLE got for Lebron was 3 crappy picks, too.
