Frank Ocean, a R&B artist, making great music announces to the world that he is Bi-sexual through Tumblr. - http://frankocean.tumblr.com/ Now this makes it difficult to enjoy his music because most of his songs were probably about the guy. His mixtape Nostalgic is ruined also. The dude can sing tho. I'm disappointed but it took guts to actually post things like that on Tumblr and letting the world know. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=156249916 - he said. "But I think a lot of men will have difficulty singing his songs knowing they may have been penned to another man." The above article explains more about him announcing his sexuality. Does this effect what y'all think about him? or How you perceive his music? What are your thoughts about him? and His music?
It's kind of ironic that he is part of Odd Future. A band that has many run ins with the LGBT community due to their offensive lyrics. I don't think this changes anything. He sings well.
Why does it make it difficult to lsiten to his music? Did you stop listening to Queen and Elton John when they came out? Personal life shouldn't mean ish when witnessing arts.
You're disappointed he's bi??!?! Is it difficult for you to listen to Elton John? Who cares... The guy can sing and makes great music. I'm a fan.
He's apart of this young rap group called Odd Future. The most famous member is Tyler, the Creator. You're not missing anything. Frank Ocean is the only member I like. Good R&B.
Look I understand he can sing. I never said he wasn't talented. All i'm saying it its makes it harder because now we know he is making the song about a guy. The song nature feels...."i wanna **** you in the garden" like just makes it weird. I'm sorry if that makes ya'll mad i was just wondering. He is a talented fellow no doubt about it.
It just messes up some songs....such as nature feels....that song was for another man....and i see your points....its valid....I know i won't stop listening to him but it'll be difficult for some songs...
I'm not a big fan of his music, but I recognize him as a pretty damn good singer. His sexual preference has absolutely no effect on my opinion of him.
