Can't vote 10 yet. Need to leave room for the inevitable Pau trade.

Everything might have gone differently than envisioned, but we've picked up some solid rookies + D-Mo. Even with the Asik signing at least this team finally seems to be moving in a distinguishable direction.

    All things considered, 6/10.

Gonna wait to see it all shake out before voting.

I will say it is off to a crappy start.

If I wake up one morning and I see a "we have traded for Pau Gasol" thread, I think I'll legitimately have a heart attack.

Any team which will sign Lin for 8-10 million in this offseason will have clear 10 offseason.

Let's see how things shake out mid July.

As of now, feels like 8 on the pain meter.

Premature much? Too many pieces still left to be figured out league-wide.

So far, it's about a normal offseason-- you get some guys to (verbally agree) to sign, other guys choose to sign with other teams (you know, they are "free" to do so as "free agents" and the best of them always have multiple suitors), everything involving restricted FAs are still pending the matching decision, you make some trades, most of the trades you want don't work out.

That's not what we're aiming for.
Aiming for the 2014 NBA Draft.

Signing backup point guard Lin for 10 million per season is good start to get top pick on that draft.

I voted 9 because no matter what Morey has been at least good enough to make the team salvageable up to this point. That's the problem. Always sitting at almost there. I think he can turn it into there, one day possibly if he makes the right moves. Not sure he can make them or pull them off though. The critical moves or decisions that make or break franchises are the toughest to make. Not sure Morey is "that guy" who can do those things.
