But would any of those guys turn that team into a contender? Don't think so. They may possibly get into the playoffs with a bunch of vets plus Dirk and a key FA pg, but they would just be first round exits yet again. It would a great time for Dallas to tank.

Rockets already met with him. Gordon met with Phoenix today and leaves with a max deal. Makes me suggest we didn't offer him that amount. If we had, I guess we would be in negotiations with Demps right now (s&t).

What's the malfunction that you don't get about the season being a long way away?

And I know. It is what it is. By your own words, you say Morey is going the wrong way no matter what way he is going. So you've covered your bases. You can trollolol around here no matter what moves he's made because you've already set it up. No matter what he does it is wrong.

If the Hornets are matching, can they then sign & trade Gordon or do they have to wait a year?

I believe they'll have to keep him. I hope none of the serious questions get missed because of the stupid bickering.

If the team matches an offer sheet and retains their free agent, then for one year they cannot trade him without his consent, and cannot trade him at all to the team that signed him to an offer sheet. They also can't trade the player in a sign-and-trade transaction

Well currently he is going the wrong way. So what if you take the words to mean no matter so literal. Thats your problem personally for getting offended for Morey on a figure of speech that accurately portrays his current direction.

Offended for Morey? Friend, I'm offended for you. I want you to be better than this. It hurts me that a fellow clutchfan is of such a makeup as you are. I want all clutchfans to be intelligent, reasoned, logical people capable of having discussions where they can agree or disagree without sounding like little school girls getting their pigtails pulled like DaDakota.

So your just pissed because Morey is not picking the players you wanted him to pick.

You want change? Well you've got a whole roster of changes.

Center - Asik 7'1" you don't like him but DM does and so do a lot of us.
Power Forward - Donatas Motiejunas 7' - high ceiling player
Small Forward - Royce White 6'8" - high ceiling player
Shooting Guard - Jeremy Lamb 6'7" - high ceiling player

Maybe that does not excite you but I love the thought of the Rockets going with the youth movement. You want out of the mediocrity pool well here goes. And for the love of pete at least let the stinking moratorium period end and see what the teams look like before getting so pissy with management. Let your complaints at least be grounded in facts and not assumptions.

The New Orleans Hornets will match the 4-year, $58 million offer sheet Eric Gordon agreed to sign with Phoenix, league source tells Y!

Correction , you may have more posts then me but after years of lurking it seems the way to get rep now is to bash DD. The amount of bashing and no actually debates has hit an all time high

How about have a direction and a exciting move in Moreys favor. Then jump on DD or another poster who calls Moreys moves into question? how about that?

All I am asking for. Heck all i want is Lin or Goran now. Can we get that? Can we trade away a veteran or two now? All I want now that the direction is unclear in every other way.

So why sign the offer sheet. Gordon should sign the QO and give it to the Hornets to make it clear to them he's walking. Then they'll turn around and work on a S&T.

I absolutely love DD's signature (pure sarcasm for the slow folks). He hardly knows his game and already compares Asik to Ryan Bowen.

So V-Span the next T-Mac worked out for you as well ay? That's just one example of the many, where he defends his players, coaches, management; yest sh!ts on all the real players that come thru the organization.

If you hadn't already known this, give it up already you're making yourself look like a real arse. (Before you remark on my spelling that was done purposely, K!)

Oh please. Your first defense and most others is to attack other posters in Moreys defense. You should look inside yourselves first before giving out such speeches.

Wow, they already had a deal for Lowry on draft night if T-Rob didn't unexpectedly fall to 5. It take two to tango and unfortunately, the only option where Sac wouldn't do the deal actually happened. The offseason is still fresh, there is no rush to dump Lowry/Martin so quick. The fact that they can't convince stars to come to Houston is not primarily the management's fault, stars just don't want to come here without another star and Houston isn't a glamorous city.

So basically we can trade for him if he consents, and Phoenix doesn't get him at all?

Hardly. Most of my rep is from the D&D. I normally avoid the Garm.

Many people can have perfectly normal debates and disagreements throughout the many areas of this board. They just normally don't happen with DaDa no matter where he posts. Maybe the fact that he is the common denominator should mean something...
