No way. Dirk and Marion have 2 years left, and the Mavs have some cap flexiblity. I don't see Cuban wasting Dirk's 2 year window. The Mavs have $44M in salary commitments, and can get down to under $36M if they amnesty Haywood.

I think they'll sign Nash or Dragic or Lin (in that order of preference). They may have cap space enough to sign a good PG (Nash or Lin) plus Camby before they amnesty Haywood.

I don't see them bailing on Dirk or tanking.
