He is wrong. Check out the podcast. Rockets didn't have max dollar cap room, even by rescinding the rights to Lee.

Um, it doesn't matter what we would've offered, New Orleans was going to match. Why is this so hard to understand for some of you.

What does our management being inept or not have anything to do with this thread? The Suns offered a max contract to a player that will get matched by his current team. That makes the Rockets management inept?

Again.... THE HORNETS ARE MATCHING. STOP b****ING ABOUT LES NOT SPENDING $$$$... It did not matter.

Once again, people are basing their argument around something they cannot prove, or have proven against so they cannot be right or wrong... just vomit their ridiculous opinions all over the GARM.

You don't know what you're talking about. Asik isn't taking up any of our cap space right now; the offer sheet is irrelevant. BTW, they could actually fit both Asik and Gordon in under the cap ceiling anyway.

I'm not sure as we haven't seen the final result yet. They may have been trying to go the sign and trade angle, I don't know. All I do know is no matter what they would've signed Gordon for, New Orleans would match.

Nope the ineptness of Rockets management is what it is, they are simply inept.

They can't convince anyone to come to Houston that is more than a role player, and they can't unload decent players like Lowry and Kmart to move up in the draft.

What they can do is shuffle the deck for like players, again and again, and get the stupid people to think they are making progress.

It's not about what the Rockets offer someone. Nobody wants to come here because of Morey. That's the real issue.

If the bulls are interested in Lee, then Morey is going to make them choose between signing back Asik with the ppp or signing Lee.

Tell Bima he doesn't know he's talking about. He's the clutchfans cap expert. Go listen to his podcast and how explains the cap situation. I wonder if it's just a coincidence that the podcast gets posted yesterday where he says cap figures put out were incorrect and that to make the offer to Asik that they did they would need to rescind their rights to Lee and then the next day they do just that.

    Hmmm...
