so carl what do you honestly think Morey offered him… i mean before yesterday EVERYONE on here said they would pay him 7.5mill-8mill… it's hard for me to believe that when they say the two sides are FAR APART in negotiations that it's over 2mill a season… i guarantee you they offered him 5mill a year.. or even 6mill and thats me being generous.. My biggest issue is everyone ALWAYS gives morey a pass, blame les, blame the coach, blame Dragic for asking for to much, but NEVER blame cheap ass morey who LOW BALLS everyone.. to me he will always be like this due to his "moreyball" theory… so what CAN we do cap wise if Asik agrees? how do we have to play with not there is anyone worth pursuing.. just curious though
So you expected him to offer significantly more than he paid Lowry? Why would he do that again? This is exactly why I love Morey, he is not going to put us in a bad position.
Well then you must go to the Circus often to throw peanuts at the elephants. If you dont like the Circus, go to the zoo. If you dont like the Rockets, then .... well find someone else to root for and stop your b****ing.
No ****ing way pal, I am gonna sit here and hold them accountable, just like every fan that has been following a team for 40 years would do. Get it? Got it? GOOD ! DD
Who? Lowry wants out - can't stand McHale and publicly said so. Dragic is an UFA. Which leaves us - who? DD
Uhh... last I checked Lowry was still a Rocket. Still under contract. You don't like the coach? Deal with it.
4 of the last 6 posts are from DD. This is how DD "wins." Scream the loudest so everyone hears you and walks away because their ears hurt.
Rox shouldn't close the door until Dragic has a better deal in place. And if Asik is matched, this is lining up to be a pretty crappy off season.

Asik might be matched...they just will have to explain to Chicago fans...how Asik is getting 15 million in year 3...lol... They will end up amnestying Boozer next offseason
Lowry will get over it, his frustrations just boiled over last season. I think having an off season for him and McHale to work together will do wonders...Kyle likes having a good coach who recognizes all the little basketball things he does. If Goran does not resign Lowry will be the starting PG and McHale will be the coach, count it.
I agree, management, when it comes to backup point guards the last few years, has gotten some great ones but mishandled them to the point we wind up trading them. Lowry's act was no doubt because he saw the writing on the wall and he was being treated like Brooks was before he was shipped out. I do blame Morey for that but that being said, Lowry at this point is a poisoned limb and we are hours away from the nearest hospital. It is time to cut it off and whether we get Dragic or Lin, I think that is the best option for this team, because McHale has at least one more year and isn't likely to forget and neither is Lowry.
DD, you have more posts in this thread than the next two posters combined. Chill out. Everyone knows where you stand. We don't need you to constantly hit us over the head with your thoughts.
Lowry will not get over it, he is a sulking cry baby, he will be looking to bolt as soon as he can, because he feels disrespected. DD
"You want $10m?" "Did you look up that price on the Internet. Yeah, if you were a center I'd pay you that right now. But you're a PG. I mean no disrespect, but I have a business to run, and need room to trade any assets I buy. PGs like you top out at $10m. There jusrt aren't that many collectors in this market. So you'd sit on my shelf for a long time increasing in cost before I could find a buyer." "I was thinking more like $5m" then they settle on $7.5m Spoiler
