Lin might not be a better player but he's definitely is a better money maker!
When it's all said and done it's all about the benjamin's.

Jesus Chris. Does anyone look at efficiency anymore?

Jeremy Lin .442 from the field. .320 from 3
Goran Dragic .462 from the field .337 from 3

You already said they averaged the same amount of points, so just do the math. Goran was obviously the better player.

Lin is a good fit with Asik.

I agree... And every starter would be under 24 except asik, who is 25-26? We'd still have work to do FOR SURE, but it would be a very interesting squad. Unfortunately, I can't see Gordon becoming a rocket. Maybe if we offer lamb, Martin and scola... Still doubt it. Either way, morey is just trying to open up as many doors as possible and see what's possible in terms of building. I'm not his biggest fan, but also don't have any realistic scenarios in which I could have done it better.

We are the "Leftover" brigade.....we go after 2nd tier talent - guys we think are uber role players......

    Asik and now Lin.....

Instead of being in the hunt for true top level NBA talent.

Yippeee Morey and Les great job.....

They need Howard to salvage this.

Yet when he goes for the top level talent, everyone seems to questions his strategy and complain, still.

You Morey bashers just can't get enough.

Nope, just need to dump older players and let the young guys play and develop. I'd be excited to watch Lamb, Parsons, White and D-Mo play. See how they develop. If we don't have Goran, I think Lin would be a solid fit with those guys.

I guess I'm a Morey basher, because to dare be critical is to be a basher... but for the record I'd be thrilled if he were able to pull off a deal for Howard.

No one is upset that he goes after top tiered talent, it is his lack of ability to execute that is upsetting.

no one knows what direction rox is taking until we land a mega player through either trade or draft.

David Stern saved Morey's butt from a horrible trade.
