Exactly, but Lin is pretty good - and would probably be ok backing up Lowry.

Why not? They were pretty much the same player last year in terms of games started and production and Lin 2 years younger.

I agree, I just wanted to point out the misconception about steals.

Lin is not a great defender by any stretch of the imagination, but he's not terrible, either. He's not Steve Nash, definitely not Jose Calderon or Ramon Sessions.

He is older than Westbrook. Why would I not to compare him?

You must be on drugs. One player can't drive left, other is left handed. There isn't thing in basketball where Lin is better than Dragic.

    Lowry .458
    Dragic .449

For those of you doubting Jeremy Lin's turnovers,

    Nash 15.2
    Chalmers 15.7

Funny how far the Rockets have fallen, we are going for leftovers in Asik and Lin instead of top tiered talent.

    So much for HIGH upside.

His agent better look to getting that price range to that 8-10 mil range...10 plus is not gonna happen...teams don't have that money...available...(except maybe toronto)..PHX is not gonna set the bar too much higher than what the Rockets offered...just imo

Because expecting Lin to produce like Westbrook is extremely idiotic.

If we can't get Dragic back (which would make me sad) I wouldn't mind landing Lin. He's shown he can play pg in the NBA.

I like Lin, like him a lot, we should never have cut him, but I think Dragic is better.

On the market today - PGs

    1. DWill - not considering us
    2. Nash - not consierting us
    3. Dragic - still considering us

I think Lin is a bit behind all of them, and is no slouch, but his upside is limited, he is not as good as the top 3 above....but he would be a nice consolation prize I guess.
