What does Kevin Durant have to do with anything?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-bKHVzZsYs

Shooting is one thing that can be easily improved upon and during the Knicks winning streak he hit a ridiculous amount of jumpers/3’s. But yeah I'll concede he's not a good shooter. (yet)

I challenge you to present any kind of evidence to back this up.

    .

Turnovers is something that can be easily corrected.

It effects the market because now you have lest teams going after PG's. Once the Knicks match Lin (They will) they will bow out of the Nash race and he'll go to Toronto and so on. It's quite brilliant. Goran has less suiters and knows he will surely get $8 million and sign. Done.

Lin's contract was unguaranteed while J.Flynn's was guaranteed. Waiving Flynn at the time didn't make sense from a financial standpoint.

    Top 30 point guards:

    1. Chris Paul
    2. Russell Westbrook
    3. Deron Williams
    4. Tony Parker
    5. Rajon Rondo
    6. Derrick Rose
    7. Kyrie Irving
    8. Steve Nash
    9. Stephen Curry
    10. John Wall
    11. Ty Lawson
    12. Jrue Holiday
    13. Goran Dragić
    14. Kyle Lowry
    15. Brandon Jennings
    16. Mike Conley
    17. Ricky Rubio
    18. Chauncey Billups
    19. Jose Calderon
    20. Eric Maynor
    21. Jarrett Jack
    22. Mario Chalmers
    23. Gary Neal
    24. JJ Barea
    25. Kemba Walker
    26. Jeff Teague
    27. Mo Williams
    28. Beno Udrih
    29. Ramon Sessions
    30. Jason Kidd

Last ten are not in order, but they are arguably better than him. Top 20 is not even debatable. Lin is backup PG.

They're going to have to bow out of the Nash race anyway.
Toronto signing Landry = no chance salary cap wise that Knicks will be able to trade for Nash unless they give up a significant player.

This is just pure, pure hatred.
Lin is around the 15-20 range.

Funny how Fields got signed to an offer sheet just like Lin will. Morey and a couple GM's conspiring against the Knicks.

The bolded ones are the ones I disagree with. Curry, Jennings, and Wall are at about the same level Lin is at. Lin is also better than the 19-30 guys you listed.

I'll give you credit for actually doing this. I disagree with Maynor in the top 20 much less over Lin. And Billups tore a achilles, I don't think he's going to be the same when he comes back.

But more to the point I'll agree that the general he's not Top 20 is correct but he's better than 20-30. No way a fossilized Kidd is better than Lin right now.

Sigmund is not a big fan of defense. Not sure if that comes from the super-ego or the id.

I think Dragic is better but Lin has good size and will make a good back court mate with Eric Gordon.

    Lowry / Lin / Livingston
    Martin / lee / Lamb
    Parsons / White / Morris
    Scola / Patterson / Motiejunas / Jones
    Asik / Camby / Leuer

Would need to make some trades, lol. This would be a great signing though, a lowry-lin PG rotation is perfect.

Chalmers d-ed him up pretty well when they played miami.

Jason Kidd can still lead a team.

Chalmers is better, but I don't know why Sigmund is using that as an insult to try to take a shot at Lin.
Chalmers almost looks like a fourth Miami superstar sometimes.

I'd say a big, athletic 23 year old PG with a 20 PER is worth 8 million.

If you're bringing in Lin at that kind of money that's being reported, you're not likely bringing him in to be your backup.
