    I would agree, although I'm tempted to say that the Rockets interest is genuine.
    Then again, it would be rather complicated to clear enough room for both Asik and Lin, so I tend to lean towards this being yet another ploy.

    Either way expressing interest in Lin gives Morey both leverage in the Lowry trade talks and in the Dragic negotiations.

    Lin is restricted. There isn't much of a choice in the matter. You simply seek out the highest offer, and hope your original team matches.

    McFail doesn't want Lowry back, so that's why we're trying to replace him, even if it means going after worse players. The whole thing is ridiculous because Lowry is better as a player than McFail is as a coach.

    In all honesty, I don't understand some of the criticisms against Lin on this token. The product of a decimated team...how does that help your numbers, outside of taking more shots? Moreover, teams can concentrate more on you as individual, more so than you being surrounded by stars.

    He's not a perfect player by any means, but Lin is at worst above average in comparison to other starting point guard. From some posters, you'd think the guy was Rafer Alston.

    Right now, Lowry and Dragic might be slightly better players than Lin, but no way in the world are they more valuable. Nobody is going to drive 25 to 100 miles and pay money just to watch Lowry and Dragic play. Lin's popularity was so high, back in January and February that he sold out games in arenas with terrible attendance.

    Lowry should be on alert that his position is never safe. This should make him work harder.

    Imagine Lin backing up Lowry. Best PG rotation in the NBA.

    Shooting is one thing that can be easily improved upon and during the Knicks winning streak he hit a ridiculous amount of jumpers/3's.

    this is whack, I still don't get what all the hype is about. Dantoni's system can make even the biggest scrubs look like all-stars.

    If we lose Lowry & Goran....AND they get replaced by Lin...i'll puke.

    The amount of people that still think the Rockets aren't tanking next year is baffling. We're not going to be contenders anytime soon people. FACE IT. STOP TRYING TO RIDE THE MEDIOCRITY TRAIN. TANK TANK TANK.
