No, we have to give up something to get Howard. Besides Parsons, I can include any player. If Howard wants to stay here, then I can give up Parsons too, but you do just not want to give up Parson simply for one year rental Howard, that is a bad business.
Rockets are the only team that don't care about contract extension. Between Rox and Nets I don't see how the Magic could choose Nets.
I don't think LA is offering Bynum. I think the Bynum angle and the ridiculous Brooklyn post-JJ deal trade are being used by Orlando to up the offer from other teams. Of course they want Bynum, but LA won't bite.
OP, before the deadline, your FO was unwilling to do a Bynum for Dwight deal straight up. Do you think there is any sense that the new FO will relinquish and accept a straight up 1 for 1 deal if both guys commit to signing extensions?
Respect your opinion and find it very interesting what the perspective from the other side of the fence is. The trade you propose hurts a little bit but I think it is a fair one and certainly would pull the trigger on it if need be. However, without the extension from Howard I would try to bargain and switch Martin for Scola.
