    It's all part of doing their due-dilligence (sp?/use)... just cause we bring in Gordon, Lin, and say Hickson (someone of that nature) doesn't mean we're automatically going to offer them a contract.

    It's all part of the game, exploring options, and feeling out the market.

    Man has this turned into a complete ****-storm. I just don't even know what to make of this. I mean I've started to come to grips with the fact that Gogi is looking as good as gone more and more by the minute, but to go out and throw money at Jeremy Lin, who is probably going to command a good chunk of change for a month of good play, is foolish.

    This all begs the question: WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON IN HOUSTON?

    Can't fathom a world in which Morey values Lin > Lowry. Not a chance in hell he's paying north of $7 million for a backup PG. As always... on to the next one.

    Just like i feel Dragic shouldn't get 10 mill., Lin doesn't deserve a $6-7 million contract. Especially being turnover prone.
    Morey is looking worse and worse everyday.

    Not a cap expert by any means, but maybe the extra 2 mill is significant, if the rockets hope to make a big offer to someone next summer, which i think is the plan now that DH is unlikely to come here.
