@WojYahooNBA: Y! Sources: As Orlando explores deals for Dwight Howard, the Lakers' Andrew Bynum has emerged as franchise's focus. http://t.co/GBAc2KH6

What's the difference between them trading Dwight to Houston? Hes not going to resign either. So if LA is willing to risk a rental, their offer of Bynum for Dwight is a better deal for them.

With Brooklyn nearly out of the loop, I'd imagine Dwight would sign an extension in L.A. Slim chances of him being a Rocket now, imo.

So Bynum has to agree to sign an extension with Orlando, and Howard has to agree to sign an extension with LA? That sounds... iffy. I could easily see this falling through.

I also wonder if Orlando buys Bynum as worth it absent other pieces to ameliorate the injury risk & him simply being not as good as Howard. Reports are, Orlando wants more than just Bynum (and I'm sure they're not thinking of Won Won).

Incoming: Houston buys Gasol for pennies on the dollar for more pieces to send to Orlando, CF cries like a bunch of babies, but the Rockets make the playoffs this season and exit first round.

    Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
I'm told the Magic will include Jason Richardson in any deal for Dwight Howard.

Rudolph is hardly a reliable source, and I'd be wary to believe any of the reports flying around at all. Agents and teams will leak information to gain a strategic advantage.

The offer for Bynum has been out there for awhile. This is nothing new.

All Dwight has to do is say yes to an extention with Los Angeles and this is done.

But he stubbournly won't. He wants to be a F/A next year.

I thought the Lakers were reluctant to trade him...? This is the first I have seen the Lakers WILLING to trade Bynum.

How is Artest's contract much better than Turkyglue's?

Thurkyglue is only partial guaranteed after next season, so, as far as overall contract value, I think Artest has more money and years coming his way.

    Lmao... orlando doeant do this...

They downgrade ar center(dwight>bynum)... and trade one bad contract for another bad contract(rich=meta)??????

Hennigan is smarter than that... he doesnt accept that...

Let me tell you what the Magic are going to tell Dwight. They are going to tell him that if he doesn't agree to sign an extension with LA that they are going to ship his ass to Houston. Once Diva Dwight hears that, he's going to get religion real fast.

Orlando won't get near equal value...and MWP's contract isn't as bad as Jason Richardsons. This is the best deal on the table and it won't get better.
